Thanks DS :) It will settle eventually.

The guy I help out with is the son of a gf who passed away over 10 yrs ago. He has lost both parents in a short space of time and wants nothing to do with his brothers. They have not treated him well! My best friend and I advocate when he needs us plus try to be a helpful presence when needed. He thinks of me like a sister - which I am happy to do what I can

Lots going on with everyone! Liz, jarred gravy is an abomination!!! Jarred Alfredo Sauce too. Horrid stuff. CC, it does take a certain talent to make cheese unappealing. But it is true, makes it easier to resist noshing. Peps, your deep are your feelings, enjoy your break. It's tough dealing with watching someone you care about do make unreasonable, irrational choices. Shirl, you have so many fun things planned, I hope the vertigo recedes now. Did it at least help your hip? Diane, I love, love words, but I am a terrible speller. Wish I wasn't (for many reasons) because scrabble players are my kind of people.

Today was an eclectic day, I guess. 7:15 meeting, then classes. I had a sub for a few hours to go to a graveside memorial service for a friend's father. It was actually the 2nd anniversary of his death. They are Jewish, and it is tradition to gather and say some special prayers. We were honored to be included.

Then I had a virtual visit with my hemetologist. I told her I am not feeling worse, but also not feeling better, that I pretty much feel like I did when I was first diagnosed. She sent me for a follow up CT scan, which was completed a lot faster when you have an appointment instead of show up at the ER. Anyhow, it was one of those abundance of caution things, but I am thankful she listened to me. I don't know if I'm going to get any answers soon why I am not feeling well, but at least we can rule some things out.

No students tomorrow, but there will be teacher training. DS will be home. Yeah!
