I guess its funny in a way - I finally rested as I had no other choice. Lost weight too but that will be short lived :(

Liz we have divorced friends who are able to do what you and Mike are doing, and include the ex in extended family gatherings. I do think it takes an exceptional wife like yourself or like my friend to be willing to put the needs of the kids and grandkids first. What a wonderful gift to your family and to Mike.

Dang Covid strikes again. I missed a dear friend's 60th birthday party because I had Covid. We were planning a dinner Sunday at our house for a belated celebration, and even better, our adult children would be home too. Now our friend has Covid! He is pretty strict, so will not go forward with any plans until he tests negative... that could be days... So perhaps postponed again.

Not much else going on. I have an appointment with the hemetologist tomorrow, follow up. We'll go over blood tests etc. Definitely have some questions.

That darn COVID is everywhere these days.

We are mid way through another surge - 1600+ cases in Victoria. They are estimating the peak will be mid December.....

Liz good on you for getting along with Mike's ex. DD's remarks reminded me of my nieces wedding years ago. Grandparents on her mother's side were divorced and a couple of family members were assigned to keeping these two away from each other during the wedding and reception. What a circus that was. And the grandmother was in a wheel chair! ds
