Quick check-in. I did yoga this morning and then our long Justice walk. Time to shower!

Tonight we are going to a restaurant we haven't been to yet and to a play afterwards. We are lucky to have a good theater located nearby.

Have a sunny Saturday!

Greetings all

I woke up to rain but it subsided. I mostly loafed about today except for a run to the pet store for dog food and treats. Then we watched our team lose, not a surprise.

At least the game was a break from election coverage which is non stop but hour to hour there is no additional information. Why I pay attention to this blathering is beyond me.

The re-cooked brisket was quite good. I just had not cooked it long enough. A taste meal that will be repeated tonight.

Not much else. I ate some cheese sticks in a late night snack. That is not helping. I eat reasonably well all day but those late night calories go right on my ass.

Two kids in the studio kids class tested positive for covid. So it aint over. I need to do my studio homework and look at financials and decide if we can give raises to the staff.

Cheers.

COVID, like the flu and common cold will never go away (hence the discussion of annual boosters like the flu). It is just our hyper awareness of it (and our ability to easily test for it) that distinguishes it. And obviously our awareness that it has killed a lot of people makes us vigilant. I also think the media has played a huge part in making us aware which they probably couldn't after the 1918 flu.

Hello Lovelies

Peeking in on Sunday afternoon, mum came for lunch & has just left. Made chicken ceasar salad then cherry cake with custard. She enjoyed it. Also made 2 egg & bacon pies- sent her home with half a pie plus a meal for her dinner tonight.

DH gets picked up by a driver in around an hour. Hes heading up to Brisbane for the week. Back Friday

I am pleased to report I passed my forklift lifence course. Much study n nerves. It was 3 parts, maths calculation test, theory test (61 questions n can only get 4 wrong- its classed as a high risk lifence) and then the practical/driving test. I got one question wrong in theory, 100% on maths n passed driving. Glad its done

i had best keep running, need to do our meal plan for next week. I am booked for my cortizone injection on Friday. Hoping it makes a big difference
