Last day of the month! There were lots of costume parties at bars and at the clubhouse here over the weekend, but we weren't interested.

Today is water aerobics, Justice walking, and maybe dinner at the food truck - the club bought one for special events and serves casual dinner food choices every Monday out of it. Inexpensive and easy.

Justice has been challenged by the cat next door! The first time the cat was out we were on the lanai and the cat put its paws on the top of the solid panel of the screen door and was face to face with Justice from the inside. Justice barks like a fiend while Oliver just ignores him. Now Oliver likes to plunk himself in Justice's pathways outdoors and just hold his ground. I think he may be smirking ;)

Cats are something else!

I was awake again early. This time awake at 4 and out of bed at 6. I don't feel tired now, but may feel it later... I prefer sunsets to sunrises!

Doctor today. I also need to make an appointment for my car to be serviced. The "it's time" notice popped up yesterday while in the middle of my garage door button programming.

I'm hoping the travertine cleaning people I left a message for over the weekend get back to me today and that they can come before my furniture does... They are in Phoenix, so it's not a quick trip.

I got snacky last night, but again no carby foods are in the house. I never used to have trouble with nighttime eating, but it's plaguing me now. My danger hours used to be 3-5, so I moved my dinner into that range, which helps, but the urge to snack has now migrated later. Like any ingrained habit, it takes effort to break it.

Oliver sounds like a force to be reckoned with. Sorry the equilibrium of Justice's sunny Florida days is being messed with. I love cats and dogs, but my cats were strictly indoor cats, so the only dog they ever interacted with was ours. One of our cats was inter species friendly, the other barely tolerated our Bella, but, she, being a lab, didn't really notice. :)

I'll look for those Carnitas CC, DH had some pulled pork at a Cuban restaurant he really liked. Maybe I could use these as a base, add some onions, peppers etc and slow cook them together...

Did some paperwork today that needed to be completed for work. So I'm moving in the right direction. DH bought so much candy. It's very warm for Minnesota, so hopefully a lot of trick or treaters out tonight. I won't be able to hand out any candy, so DH is on duty.
