I hope you all slept well! Only 2 weeks until the dreaded time change. More light in the morning but less at night. I don't think the disruption in dog eating and human sleeping is worth it.

I seemed to have a small sleeve day yesterday for the most part until popcorn in the evening. Oops...

Today we go out for Sunday breakfast (Mike's tradition), then to the outdoor venue we often go to on weekends for music. The week ahead seems to be full of delightful Florida Fall weather. Amazing how fast it changes - just a couple of weeks ago it was super hot and humid.

Have a splendid Sunday!

That's another great thing about Arizona, no time change! I'm interested to see how the light is through the year to understand why they chose to not to do DST. My folks do Sunday breakfast too. It's a nice tradition!

I took a 3 mile walk yesterday and my food was good. I woke up late so just coffee for breakfast. For lunch I steamed a little broccoli then topped it with some leftover cut up steak, some blue cheese, red pepper, green onions, radish, avocado and homemade lemon vinaigrette (olive oil). Really good! I love "bowls". On the side I had an ounce of walnuts. For dinner I had wild salmon and a big salad (power kale mix, avocado, radish, cucumber, red pepper, blue cheese). My snacks were a piece of cheddar cheese and a small amount of raspberries with cream. That was 77g of protein, 120g fat, 23g net carbs, and 1534 calories. I'm using the Carb Manager app to track as MFP doesn't do net carbs (which is just subtracting fiber. Without netting that was 47g of carbs and keto calls for between 20 and 30 net depending on who you ask). Scale was down 0.2 for 13 overall. The days of a pound a day are done I think.

Still loving the curly hair. I told my friend that I've always just tolerated my hair. I had good hair minutes, but not good hair days. This is the first time I am excited about it. Feels like a more free spirited, fun version of me.

I talked to a designer about helping with my house. I really like all of their photos on their website. A nice eclectic mix of traditional and modern, which is what I need to make my stuff work in this house. She's going to meet with me the next time she's in Sedona (they are in Scottsdale, but come up here).

It was super windy here yesterday and rained this morning. Only 61 today and tomorrow. Hello Fall!

Not sure what I'm doing today yet, but it will involve a sweatshirt.

Happy day all!

PS I texted with Shirl, she's good and busy as ever with work and her lovely family.

I always wished I had curly hair. Mine has a bend in it. Enough to make it not cooperate at times in a bob, have weird wrinkles when down to my shoulders, but respond well to humidity when short. I am doing the short bob hair thing right now. Would live to see a picture of you with curly hair on TT.

Yoir menu sounds great but alas, I would gain weight on 1500 calories. I need to be below 1300 to lose. Another reason it is not good to be short!

Greetings all

A sunny day here so DG nagged me until I went out and trimmed the princess bu****s gotten huge and is spectacularly in bloom right now. I would have left it but it covers the front window and therefore the view of the front sidewalk and porch for Halloween kids. So It had to be cleared or we cant sit on our behinds in the kitchen drinking and watching kids. Anyway, the way I cut things looks better than what DH does and he knows this and says if I don't clip it, he will. Look up princess bush. They are beautiful when blooming which seems to happen several times per year.

I am one person who does not dread the time change. Its because it gave the day an extra hour to stay up late. But thats not so a big treat any more. And indeed the early evenings are not fun.

Just went out for a few errands. Our one front tree is so beautiful right now. Intense gold. However so is our driveway and lawn. I think our neighbors do mind. Anyway, those few errands tired me out so I am drinking a protein drink. Fairlife. I remember DD saying she feels better with it. How about you CC, are you feeling better with more protein? I picked up some roasted tri tip at the deli as its cooked rare and they don't always have it. Not for a meal but more as cubed for a snack.

I had the idea to borrow some folding chairs from the gallery for Halloween seating. They are folding but nice wide sturdy ones. Hope I get permission.

Not much else. The two most annoying gallery members are now arguing about the new by laws. LOL I want popcorn.

I don't know that I've ever lacked for protein, but I feel sedated by excessive carbohydrates! So the drop there feels like someone wiped the vaseline off my lens...
