Where is everyone? It is 1:30 here already.

I am feeling somewhat virtuous because I did yoga this morning, a 3 mile Justice walk, then ate right at lunch (fish and coleslaw). All after a night interrupted by Justice's need for a walk at 3:30 and my inability to fall back asleep for quite a while. We shall see what the rest of the day brings though. I have only done yoga once in almost 3 years so it was hard but I am glad I started again. They have it here only once a week so I am going to do water aerobics twice a week in addition. I feel like getting more physical will also motivate me to eat less.

Not much else going on except lying on a chaise lounge at the beach club. It is a beautiful, breezy warm day here with low humidity. The kind of Florida weather I love especially in the Fall.

Have a successful Saturday!

I slept in! Dozed from 8 to 9:30 and dragged my carcass out at 10. Heavenly!

No weight loss today. Oh well! I didn't walk the last two days, I need to do that today. It's a beautiful 72 degrees. Food was still good yesterday. Big salad with a "power greens" mix, red pepper, avocado, radish, cucumber, and blue cheese and grass fed sirloin for dinner (It's dawning on me I like hamburger and beef jerky, but with steak I only like the first few bites of and then I start to get turned off by all the chewing and thinking about what I'm chewing), eggs and some bacon for lunch and nuts as a snack.

Yesterday I braved Walmart to buy a vacuum. I figured the new house was big enough that I could keep a vacuum at each end and I will likely want to clean and vacuum before my stuff comes. But mostly, I just hate the vacuum here at the rental. It's an old, heavy canister Electrolux and I feel like not only does it miss stuff, it's like wrangling a giant, uncooperative turtle and python making me not want to use it!

Being a beautiful weekend, I think I'll stay out of Sedona. Maybe a drive to Flagstaff to see the changing colors? Who knows. Will report tomorrow.

Have a lovely day!

Your place does seem pretty big. I have an iRobot and a Dyson animal which work fine for me in our little place. They both need to recharge once in the middle but no big deal.

Greetings all

Ok, so what evil person invented Fritoes? And why did DH bring some home? Once I start the are irresistible. At least the bag is empty now.

Yeah CC, new vacuum cleaners are a fright. Years ago I had this Hoover dial a matic that was self propelled. It worked great and did not have a hundred tons of accessories hanging off of it. Loved that machine. Except it would run over your foot.

Yoga Liz, very fun. Hope its not the kind in a hot room.

I stopped in the studio today and got a lot of glazing done.

Gallery by law drama continues. The changes have just been posted. Let the arguments begin. Why do people look for stuff to argue about? (oh wait, I was a lawyer?)

We watched a new show last night "Periphery" or something like that. I pretty much hate it and had to leave the room when they started stabbing someone in the eye. No thanks.

Not much else. Making a shopping list for Target for all the paper plates and stuff for Halloween.

Well the dogs are agitating. Must feed.

Fritos are the devil! I LOVE them. I could polish off a family sized bag in a day. And don't get me started on how great the scoops shape is...

That show sounds horrendous!

The yoga is in a nice air-conditioned room. I tried it once here about a year ago but at that time they had it outside on the grass in the heat with the bugs (due to COVID). That's why I didn't continue at that time.

I was dog showing and dropping off Apollo for his trek to the great Pacific Northwest! The house is calmer with him gone. He'll do much better in a single dog household that will give him the attention and follow through he needs.

I had a bad gut today. Not sure why. A couple of the dogs seem to be having gut issues, too, and Ron complained of very soft BM, so I wonder if we all got a little salmonella or norovirus somehow???? However, I don't feel sick, so probably not Norovirus.

After I got back from Santa Rosa and my dog duties and Ron went off to 5:30 Mass, I got to take a nap! Whoo hooo! Probably slept for a good solid hour.

CC, so glad you seem to have found your eating mojo! Liz, when you are ready and it becomes truly important, you too, will find yours. Me, I'm still working through my eating disorder crap, but I will get there, too!

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday.

Has anyone else stopped getting notifications when someone likes or responds to their posts or just me?

I never received notifications of "Likes", but I have always gotten notifications about responses. I am still getting them but they are very delayed.

I am not getting notifications of any kind either. I used to get notifications whenever a post was liked or when someone responded to a post.
