No, I did not drown during water aerobics. Nice group of ladies - several are my neighbors including one directly next door. Though all were quite a bit older than me they were super friendly and it was a really good workout (more than I expected). So maybe I can start getting some flexibility back. Next week I want to go to Yoga one day. The plan is 2 days of water aerobics, 1 day of yoga, and 4 days of walks with Mike and Justice. If I can get my head in the game for losing some weight maybe I can get into some jeans I can't zip either (good for you DD).
Don't get high on that glue, Diane! CC, you continue to amaze with your ability to get out and meet people. Peps, stay on the track you have been on with your therapist as you have gained so much inner understanding.
Time to get ready for the long Justice walk. Maybe the beach club mid-day, then bocce at 4.
Have a thinking Thursday!

Another social thing! I had joined a local hiking group and went to their annual cookout today. It was lots of fun. I went with my real estate agent so it wasn't quite so scary as walking in alone. Sat with some very nice people at lunch.
It's beautiful here today and 83. I think a late afternoon hike would be good.
I think that's all I have today. Take care!
PS - Liz, joining water aerobics in a swimsuit is pure bravery! Way to go!
And yeah you! It isn't easy going the first time to something but usually ends up okay doesn't it?

Greetings all
Well I showed up at the gallery only to find its not my day today but Saturday instead. Oh well, so I just went to the studio and made owls.
Not much new. DH brought home most of his tuna sandwich that he ordered for lunch so thats dinner. Yay.
Water aerobics can be fun Liz. Glad you went. Years ago I went to some but the pool was all glassed in and all these men stood watching the class through the glass as us ladies had boobs bouncing up and down. No thanks for that but it is a good workout.
The fog rolled in thick today. Almost a line between one town and the next.
Trying to catch up on needed chores. It would help if I started. Post trip laundry needed. Ditto pre Halloween tossing.
DH insists we take our temperatures daily to make sure we did not get covid on the trip. Mine is normal for me which is 97.5. It occurs to me that since my body is one degree colder than most people, I am creating a heat deficit and therefore a calorie burning deficit which is why I am fat. One degree times umpty ump pounds must equal a dish of ice cream. Thats may story and I am sticking too it.

Mike and I have both had COVID twice and didn't have a fever either time. We just felt like we had colds.

Hi all, Packed up for Chicago, so we can leave as soon as I get home. I also did another online doctor visit. My energy is much better, pain in my face/sinuses better, etc, but I still cannot catch my breath. It's quite noticeable. I'm out of breath after walking to my car, not at all normal.
The doctor asked a lot of questions, and prescribed an inhaler. But he strongly cautioned me that if I don't see improvement in a few days I need to go to an emergency room and be checked for atrial fibrillation. I'm not having any fluttering feelings, but he said this breathing thing is a symptom. I asked but wouldn't it be more of a concern if I hadn't had this infection, and he said, sometimes things like this bring it on. Yikes. So I will pay attention.
About the inhaler, I've never used one, and anyone watching me trying to breath in and then hold it in my lungs would also know I've never inhaled anything. So square. :)
Diane, my normal body temp is also a smidge lower than normal, 97.6, if it's 99 I'm running a decent fever. I generally wear a cami, a shirt and a cardigan/hoodie everyday to work because the air conditioning is too much, and the heat is never high enough to my liking. I have to poke touch screens so many times, I wonder if there is any heat in my finger tips at all! When mood rings were all the rage, mine never changed color. :)
A friend discovered she had atrial fibrillation from her Apple Watch. Don't know if there are other devices that can help self-diagnose (leading to an important doctor visit). Just a thought if he has put a bug in your ear that you can't ignore.
