VSG Maintenance Group

I was thinking about Diane's comments yesterday about eating small and having a "dinky" sleeve. I remember just after I had my VSG but was all healed so back to a full diet. I felt embarrassed about how little I ate at a meal when out with friends. But no one ever seemed to notice except me. At some point I started to notice that some naturally thin people like SIL ate approximately what I would eat. I had never noticed that before! My frame of reference was my own former portion size which was generally a clean plate philosophy no matter how much was there. God forbid I should waste food!
I was feeling quite pudgy yesterday and am really excited to see how DD's new medication works for her. I feel like I have to do something, potentially with medication and want to be prepared to discuss it when I see my PCP in December.
Today's plans are to take our usual long Justice walk, then maybe the beach. We also may reorganize a closet which just had a shelf reinstalled (the old one fell down because whoever installed it originally didn't anchor it into studs). I may install some wire baskets and a broom rack in the laundry room which has been bugging me with its clutter. Mike doesn't really care but seems to like the changes I make. No big ones though until we are sure we are staying in this house for at least the immediate future.
Have a more than middling Monday!

I don't have much to say, but poor Liz has been alone on here all day! It was a gorgeous day here. I read a bit outside, talked to the contractor that was supposed to do work on my house last winter leaving me with a porch full of uninstalled appliances, went to the grocery store and went to dinner at the local bar for hamburgers with my family. Quite the cast of characters in there tonight!
My back has started hurting and waking me up at 4. Must be the chairs/couch I'm sitting in during the day... So I'm very tired and might go to be bed early!
Anyway, repeats of the same relaxing day each day!
I am so glad you are successfully relaxing: You needed it!

Greetings all
Another busy day by my standards. Lunch with an old friend from the studio whom I had not seen in awhile. She had missed out on a lot of studio gossip. We toured the new addition to the studio and had a nice visit with the new technician over there. then it was pick up payroll and deliver, glaze some items, and a store visit for hamburger for the dogs.
Speaking of dogs, the new fence is holding so far. Had it not, we would have needed a moat, not that they would not swim.
I just ate the rest of my bacon tomato and avocado crepe that was lunch. Yummy. Dinner tonight is the rest of yesterdays burger and super crunchy french fries.
Yeah having a tight sleeve has not stopped me from regain. Food just tastes too good again and there is plenty of slider food available. Who invented french fries (duh the french)? Potatoes and bread are my true nemesis and I don't seem to be able to resist them as I used to.
Scrabble tomorrow and I may go by the flooring store as I slowly move forward on this project.
Not much else. Cheers all. Diane S
Very late check in! Newest discovery of medication: I was feeling very frustrated on Saturday, I felt soo crappy. Had felt pretty scrappy on Friday too. Turned to google, turns out this medication can lower blood pressure. Made an executive decision Sunday morning to stop taking my own low dose of prescribed blood pressure medication and I feel so much better.
More to come...
Hmmm...Interesting.
