The rain held off until late in the day yesterday though it was pouring last night. Justice really hates going out in the rain so his last out was a quick stop under the umbrella. I think he must have spent some significant uncomfortable times in the rain while he was a stray.

Because there was no rain the bocce clinic was held. The rules are pretty simple so I think we should do okay other than the fact that I don't have great eye/hand coordination LOL. Our "team" won the game we played. Mike was a lot better than me... Afterwards we went to a cute Mexican restaurant which has good reviews. The short-rib tacos were great and I ended up eating them out of the tortilla so not too bad a meal.

Today we go out for Sunday breakfast (Mike's tradition), then later will go somewhere to watch the Patriots football game (we can't get it at the house here). Not much else on the agenda for today.

Have a Super Sunday!

No Vikings game today, they play tomorrow. There is an Art Festival in our town, which we might check out, or, go kayaking. Two pretty different activities. DH says I should choose, I'm leaning towards kayaking. ..

We saw See How They Run last night. We enjoyed it, a little drool, a little madcap. We have friends who are nervous about returning to the movie theater, once again it was us and 2other people. Seems pretty safe! I love the big screen experience, but I wonder how long it can last with such low attendance...

Time for the Sunday paper and tea...

The big movie chain in CA I used to go to has filed bankruptcy and is shutting quite a few theaters. Sad.

We did end up kayaking, even though it was overcast and spritzed a bit. No one else was on the lake at all. There are some leaves that are just starting to be tipped with yellow and gold, mixed in with the green. A few have fallen. It smells just incredible. We saw a grey heron and a bald eagle, lots of ducks and huge fish jumping. Lovely way to pass a few hours.

CC, this is what I fear, tastes change and things fall out of favor, and next thing you know you can only watch movies on the biggest screen you can afford/fit in your home, which in my case appears to be 55 inches.

Greetings all

lots to do today. Our friend wanted me to go to this womens art show.ok. Then another friend called and I invited her to come along. All were thrilled. We did the show including parts I had missed, then we went to lunch at a brew pub with exquisite hamburgers, our friend is also vsg but none of us could eat all this. We all got go boxes, we tried to order a beer from the kids menu. Lol Alex just wanted a small glass.

I had to get home early because we were invited to dinner at 4, yep 4 pm dinner. Our friend who is selling his house with spectacular ocean view wanted us to come. I used to go there often to play bridge and stare at the ocean, last view.

the hamburger lunch was kind of late so I was pretty stuffed when I showed up for the 4 pm dinner. Dh and I both had small portions and no one gave us any crap. I had a large lunch at 2 so no prepared to eat much at 4. Oh well, I no longer appologize for mr limited eating. These people all know about our vsg.

tomorrow is yet another lunch out with a potterfriend

i am eating big but being wise as I still have a dinky sleeve

preparations for Halloween are beginning as for dh reunion. Must find clothes that are not from ll bean

thats it, more tomottow on the crepe restautant

cheers. Diane s
