Happy belated birthday to Diane! I hope you had an enjoyable dinner out!

We went to happy hour at the clubhouse last night. There weren't as many people as usual but we did meet a few new people. Afterwards we had kabobs from Sam's Club cooked on the grill and a salad. Great meal and pretty healthy!

Amazon is getting a workout from me. They are due to deliver here the next 4 days. I had to order a bunch of replacement toiletries and am also getting items to better organize the house. One is wire baskets for the wall in the laundry room for detergent etc. Mike kept them on the window sill where they are cooked by the sun and they end up falling on the floor behind the machines frequently. Yesterday at the actual store I bought practical items like extension cords and a lightweight stool for me. Mike only had ladders and the smaller one weighed too much for me to lug it easily in and out of the house. When one is 5'3" one needs a stool a lot!

We had planned to go to the beach club today followed by the rescheduled bocce clinic but it looks like rain again this afternoon and evening for the 4th day in a row here. This summer pattern (which didn't occur in the main summer months as there was a drought) looks like it may change starting tomorrow. Good thing as we are accustomed to outdoor activities when in Florida.

Time to get ready to do the long Justice walk. Have a super Saturday!

Not as good of a sleep last night. I guess you can't win them all.

Walked this morning and had leftover pizza for lunch. There is an old boat show in town today (as well as a beer festival they call it Hops and Props) so I think we're heading over there soon if my dad can put his iPad down! Tonight we are having neighbors over for ****tails and snacks which I think will end up our dinner.

I think that's all I know!

Sounds like a perfect fall day!

A bit of rain here too, but things are still kind of drought like. We have Minnehaha Falls in the Minneapolis Park System, a lovely site for both tourists and locals. DH rode by yesterday on his bike and said not even a trickle was going over the falls. Dry indeed.

Got up and went to our favorite Irish coffee shop in St. Paul. We are still getting used to the luxury of DH having every Saturday off. While we were on the east coast, it was sort of vacation, out of ordinary time. But its so lovely to wake up after the work week and still have him here.

I had oatmeal instead of my usual scone with clotted cream. I don't know if it was the hit of carbs from the oatmeal or the Topamax or end of the work week or combination, but I am so sleepy. I've got a few things that need my attention, but I think a nap is calling. DH is more virtuous, he is heading out on his bike for a spin.

Liz, When is your actual first Bocce Ball game?

First scheduled game is Thursday at 4.

Early check in for me today. I have gallery duty this afternoon so I am getting organized for that.

We had a great dinner last night at the restaurant with the million dollar view. Crab cakes and I brought one home. I think the wait staff thinks we are nuts. Two fat people who don't eat bread and box up most of their dinner. Oh well.

I will spend part of the gallery time looking at these by law changes. Bringing my red marker.

Its cloudy today and since its after labor day the tourist traffic will be lighter. Means I also need to bring lots of cross words.

My studio buddy wants to go see the art show again tomorrow so I will do it. Then we have dinner at a friend's house. Thats lots for me.

Yep Liz, I am also 5'3' and need steps. But I am klutz and fear falling. Having 6' tall DH helps.

Football tonight after gallery. Its gonna be ugly.
