CC, good luck on your offer! If you are moving forward, it must really feel right. I hope you get the house!
So Minneapolis is in a drought, 6inches behind in rain. Today, when my Uncle has planned a party at his lake house, it's raining. It hasn't rained in any quantity since June. Oh well. It will still be good to see everyone.

Thanks, DD! It felt a little impulsive, but it's the neighborhood I want where there aren't many houses total and not many that come up for sale (last one that sold was 2018). The two others for sale (but not listed yet) in there are quite a bit more expensive. So not the most expensive on the block! My dad was super excited, so that feels good. I should hear back today... I offered less than asking, but also to let them stay until the end of October for no rent to give them time to find a new house. My agent thinks they will accept the price and ask for a little extra time, which is fine as I have the rental. Sedona is quirky and beautiful. I think I'm going to really like it here.
Today I am going for a "holistic pedicure". I believe crystals and chakras are involved. It felt very "Sedona" so I'm giving it a try! Sounded very decadent and relaxing if nothing else.
Food hasn't been terrible, which is a win, but I haven't weighed... Exercise hasn't been enough.
I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you!!!

Post roof cleanup today. It is 90 here, almost unheard of on Cape Cod. I could only do a little work outside and then had to come inside to the AC and water. The good news is that the front of the house looks presentable now and the deck in the back is 75% back in shape. The hydrangeas which are across the entire front of my house got a bit flattened but look like they will come back next year as they were already pretty well established. I think they have suffered more from lack of water and some lack of sun while under tarps, then the flattening. It does sadden me as this was the first year every bush bloomed and looked totally robust in early July. Oh well. My lawn is brown and yuck with the heat and lack of water. But every place on the Cape looks the same. Really an unusual year from that standpoint.
Last night was fun with the girls, then I had a final glass of wine with SIL on her deck. I have missed her! Tonight is night 2 of Mike's class reunion, so I am going to a Tiki bar over the bridge with a couple and SIL again. Better than working in the heat!
I hope you have all had a satisfying Saturday!
