Thank you, I do too. I'm trying not to worry until we know what it is.
They gave me a pricing chart by age for the BCBS plans (my only option at this point). The next 15 years are going to be incredibly expensive... if I was 64, at this years rates I would pay $22,239 for a year. I don't want to think about what 15 years of medical inflation will mean when I'm really 64. I don't think we can carry on at this rate. When I think about my $200 pre-Obamacare monthly insurance payments I could weep!
All my classroom teacher friends are back to school working in their classrooms. I am not going bac****il next week. I have no guilt about that whatsoever!
Weight is stable. Eating seems to be on track for the most part. Still deal with a bit of the sweet tooth, but I really seem to be down a solid 6 pounds. To me 6 pounds sounds to minimal, but I'm taking it and feeling proud of the loss - no matter how insignificant I may have found a six pound lost in the past.
Wonderful to see a post from Shirl.
Paula, Miss150..... don't fade away!
You should feel proud of those 6 pounds especially since they were a result of changing some thinking that you had wanted to change not from a "diet". That represents true progress.

Greetings all
Busy day. Tesla was spayed today and is now resting at home in her little dog jumpsuit. Better than the cone head. Senile old Chip is pacing around confused. Nutty little Poppy is beside herself because her mom can't play with her. She is bouncing off the walls. I feel like I am running a doggie day care!
Doctor appointment tomorrow for annual. Translation: get weighed. Ick. Not looking forward to that. I guess I am well even though I am tired a lot. I had to fill out an on line medical questionnaire and it was not an especially good piece of software so I think it has my dad as my bother in medical history. Oh well.
Yeah CC, health insurance cost sucks. When we quit our jobs and moved to CA it was a huge issue for us. We had COBRA for awhile and some for DH job. I finally formalized my art business as a partnership with DH and set up a group health plan. Even so it was not cheap but it was all we could do. You might consider just having major medical. I am grateful for medicare and think it should be broader. So much difference between states on property and taxes. And CC I hope your dad is doing ok and feeling better.
Congrats Liz on 2 years with Mike. Seems to have flown by. GL on the house. Hope its not too trashed.
Peps enjoy a couple of extra free days. Hope the new work is good and makes up for the schedule idiots.
Grilled ham and cheese tonight. Amazing how something simple is so good. But I feel quilty for eating bread.
Scrabble tuesday and I beat the big kahuna! But lost my other games. Oh well.
Time to take Tesla out. She can't run loose for a couple of weeks. She has some tranquilizers just in case. I would take them myself but probably the dosage for a 14 lb dog is not enough.
Cheers. Diane S
I'm glad Tesla has those tranquilizers and not you LOL. They never worked on my previous dogs though Justice hasn't had any occasion to have them while with me. But that CBD/THC stuff they gave the puppies who came home with us from Aruba definitely did an amazing job.
