Yeah, Diane S on getting the fence repaired today! DD, so good that you could celebrate your birthday in Boston. CC, amazing wildlife in addition to the view. I think you will fall in love with Sedona!
The Postnuptial is signed and it is hot as you know what here. Though the recorded temperature is not all that much higher than we have had in Massachusetts lately, the humidity level and the total lack of shade trees makes it unbearable. Reminds me of one of the reasons I hated being in Miami during the summer of 2004. I don't feel like I could ever live here year-round unless I stayed indoor all the time during the summer which goes against my grain.
We may try going to the beach club today but will have to sit under umbrellas or stay in the water. I'm not sure how long I will be able to stand it. Tonight we are going to one of our favorite family-owned and staffed restaurants here. Tomorrow I have appointments with the other lawyer to sign a new will, POA, etc. it will be good to have all this legal stuff taken care of. Then home early Saturday.
Have a thoughtful Thursday!

All my legal documents were from before prior DH was deceased. The fallbacks for my Will worked until I got remarried. So I had to redo my Will anyway and updated the other important documents as well. Deceased DH would be proud of me.

212.2 this morning. Who knew eating well and walking would reverse the trend (sarcasm)? Moving further away from my 222.2 BMI obesity line. Whew.
I called my old local post office and no one answered. No surprise. So I called the general PO number and wended my way through menus to report a problem with my mail forwarding. A robot sent me link to report the details of my problem and I later received an email from a human at my old post office saying they will research. Fingers crossed they do.
Lunch with the real estate people was nice. (Gorgeous restaurant called Mariposa) After, one of them drove me around a bit to get the lay of the land beyond what I'd seen. Helpful! She wants to introduce me to their marketing person *****cently lost her older golden, Murph, and just got two golden retriever puppies! She showed me puppy pictures. Utterly squeezable chonky boys!
Schedule for today, more eating healthy and maybe I'll go walk around Uptown Sedona (the touristy part).
Liz, that level of humidity sounds unbearable! DD, glad you had a nice birthday!
Are you thinking of getting a puppy at some point?

Whew, heat and humidity is back in Boston. The shelves saga was something else. We crammed 2 big Ikea shelves into our Equinox, and 2 smaller shelves. Everything was wedged in pretty tight, but TBE hatch couldn't close. I dug around in the car, and we ended up securing the hatch, and subsequently the load with phone charger cords. Necessity is the mother of invention? More lugging stuff up the tricky stairs.
There is a little room off my daughter's kitchen. For some reason the fridge was in there, blocking all the space, and the fridge door could not be opened all the way. So we started this project by moving the fridge back into the kitchen itself. Now the shelves are in there, and its a walk in pantry :) They were storing their food in a cute little China hutch in the kitchen, now the food is in the pantry, and the hutch is storing heirloom dishes my daughter had in boxes in her closet. Oh, and I removed the empty wine bottle collection on top of the cabinets that a previous roommate thought was a cool way to decorate. Things are shaping up, but I am really tired. Its a goid tired. When I'm done here, I'll post some pictures.
Tonight we are dinging in the North End at, of course, an Italian restaurant. I think we've hit most of the Boston highlights.
