We leave our tiny house in a couple of hours to head to the airport and a day of traveling. It has been a good stay. I really enjoyed seeing family and especially getting to know my brother's DIL and grandson. That little guy is so wonderful!

It was also nice getting to know the area which is so beautiful with views of Puget Sound everywhere. But the weather and the beaches just don't fit into my idea of a great place to live. But they do for my brother and his family which is what is important!

We return to a house full of my children this weekend. No easy slide back into our world. Tomorrow morning we have to get rid of a sofa bed which is being replaced with my daughter's version which is newer and doesn't fit in the house she lives in now. I told DS (who wants the trade for a room he doesn't use?) to figure out where the older one is going before the newer one arrives a couple of months ago as there is no room in the house for an extra. As of yesterday he hadn't done anything so I made the calls to figure out where to bring it! He darn well better move back to the room the couch is going in with his junk as that is really why I agreed to it. Right now he has 3 sleeping areas filled with his stuff so I have NO spare bedrooms. Sigh... Obviously I had a tendency to avoid confrontation especially with family members.

Luckily we are moving out to Mike's place at least for most of the time for the next few weeks on Monday.

Time to stop complaining and get packing.
