Waking up in Boston this morning. The sofa bed was tolerable. We ordered a memory foam topper to add to the current mattress. It gets here this afternoon, so tonight should be even more comfortable.

We have plans to see a movie with "the kids" this evening, but nothing specific this afternoon.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable Thursday!

Enjoy Boston! Sleep sofas can be difficult. I had one in Florida for the first year but replaced it with a much more comfortable Murphy bed. If we stay in our current place there we may do the same in what is currently the "office".

We had a fun day in Seattle visiting some areas I don't believe I saw when I used to travel there for business. I had been to Pike Place Market though and enjoyed seeing it again and purchasing some of my favorite cheese.

The visit with my brother and his family has been enjoyable. I really like his daughter-in-law who is a very bright, relaxed, warm, stay-at-home Mom. My great-nephew has a fantastic personality. Today (our last day here) we will probably go to the state park with a picnic lunch and visit the beach where the little guy will dig in the sand while we throw sticks for the dog. Beach visits are entirely different here as the sun is not hot, the water is too cold to go swimming in (except for Labrador Retrievers), and the sand is wet and rimmed by driftwood. Pretty but so different than what I think of as a beach.

Have a totally enjoyable Thursday!

Consignment movers are here taking 3 chairs, a big pottery barn project table with bookcases, 5 bookcase units, and two side tables. Really nice guy!

I had to scramble to get all of the bookshelves cleared off in time, while sorting keeps from donates. At least my donate mountain is higher than the keep one! Books are heavy...

Yesterday I took 4 boxes of books to the friends of the library. I have 4 more in the trunk and still massive piles inside. I'm out of boxes. I swung past Costco and got some from the free pile out front, but it was slim pickings.

After they leave, I need to drop off more books, go find more boxes, make a run to the hazardous waste drop off, go to therapy, and drop my sewing machine at my friend's house who has a friend collecting them for Afghan refugees. That's enough for today!

Greetings Peeps and Peps

Its a great sunny day here after July 4 rain. Works for me.

Not much new. DH went to lunch at the chinese restaurant so thats what we have for dinner.

I have resolved to start drinking Fairlife protein as soon as I can find some. Might have to order. I am experiencing muscle weakness and low protein is not cool. Coming up next month is my annual physical and dr. is ordering extensive labs due to barriartric history. Its been 12 years since vsg and at least 7 since I had a full panel. A no coffee morning but oh well.

Boston DD have fun! And Liz, yeah the cool beaches are what we have here too. No swimming. Also sharks.

CC you are a tornado getting rid of all those books! Yay cant wait to hear about Sedona. Armoirs used to be the big thing when tv sets were fat and you had to hide them. Oh well, take it along if you need to.

I am grateful there are not a lot of fireworks post 4th. It startles me, not to mention the dog.

I may have mentioned we started watching "Barry. We love it - dark humor.

Take care. Diane S

I'm glad your doctor is doing a lot of lab work. Good to keep on top of those things!
