It is 6 am and we are off to Mike's place in 1/2 hour to meet the lawn sprinkler guy and spend the day out there. It is supposed to be 80 today so we are going to the beach for the day, then to dinner out there tonight before returning to my place. It should be enjoyable except for having to get up earlier than usual which caused restless sleep most of the night.
I thought about PS for my back fat but at this point I'm not sure I would want to go that route. The surgeon had asked me about doing something when I had my tummy done but I just didn't want to be cut all the way around at that point (the thought creeped me out) and it wasn't so bad then (when I was at my lowest, 30 pounds lighter). Oh well.
Time to get packed for the day. Have a wonderful Wednesday!

We are not early risers by nature. I get up around 6am when I'm working, but now I am relying on an alarm to wake me up at 8am.
Today is kayak day. :) Looks gorgeous outside!
I've got back fat, arm pit fat, fat everywhere! I used to wear a lot of spanx to try and rein it all in, with some success. But now as Liz said, its just too hot to wear stuff like that all the time.
Have a wonderful Wednesday!
Like you, my fat is evenly distributed, too. I am a little fire plug, just like Lovey our French Bulldog! I like the even distribution!
I only tried a spanx top once. It was wild! I went from a 30 inch waist to a 28 inch waist. I was at my lowest weight post VSG and I wanted to rein in the loose skin. Once was enough. LOL
Shimmying into those things always gets me all sweaty so I feel the opposite of svelte!

Sounds like a perfect day! Enjoy that salad!

Greetings all
The house got cleaned today and the dogs promptly trashed it by tearing up a toy stuffed with fuzzy stuff. Great.
I stopped in at the studio for a short while after doing banking for the gallery. I noticed the free food pantry was empty so I went to the discount grocery and got some supplies. Stuff like Vienna sausages, beans and weenies, chili and jerky. I was consciously trying to buy protien items rather than chips and crackers. Duh, why don't I do that for myself? Actually today is steak so thats acceptable. As I left the pantry box I noticed a painfully thin woman taking supplies.
Yeah we all have our most detested fat spots. Mine is thighs. Super thunder thighs. A family trait. My niece has it worse even than me and I feel pain for her. I wish she would get the sleeve like her dad did but its her life. She knows all about it.
Paula that salad looked great! Reminds me to get some basil. The plant I had outside went to plant heaven.
Yesterday was scrabble which is always fun. We had the hearings on the radio but missed a lot.
Well the dogs are lobbying. Time to cook for them.

Once a dog gets to the fuzzy insides they do love to tear toys apart with glee, don't they?

A bit on the warm side, but not very humid, so good to go, all in all. The fruity custard yogurt was yummy; wonder of wonders- I had but the one serving. Maybe progress is - well, at least this time around. I, too, am more susceptible to binge eating- big part of my eating disorder.
About sure I am in maintenance mode- I am consistently weighing in the same 2# range. It will take purpose and consistent daily attention to drop any lower. Taking exception or "just this once" or a day off here and there does not work for me in weight loss.- Instant derailment.
My thighs are my most frightful body part. The days of wearing short shorts has long passed; Maidenform Flexies do for the times when I want a bit of smoothing under slacks. Funny, my PS also suggested a full cut around when I had my tummy tuck- I chose not to for much of the same reason as you, Liz. In retrospect, the full cut might have lifted some of the thigh fat, but all-in-all I am grateful for the work I did have done--

Yes, I am happy with what I had done and don't really regret not being cut all the way around. I might have considered going back a few years ago to do my back but I don't think I would bother now.
