Congratulations! I think this point in life is the perfect time to make a switch to avoid burnout. I know you will do a fantastic job and hopefully will enjoy it!

Greetings ll
I spent all day in my robe watching the Jan 6 hearings. I am such a news nerd and so is DH. We find this very interesting and will watch the talking news heads more tonight. After that stuff finished up I decided I had better be useful so I got dressed and am doing "dog" laundry - the throws and sofa covers they lie on and muddy up. Poppy's feet have been muddy at times lately which we discovered was from the hole she was digging under the fence.
Yeah Bonnie I often don't eat anything until 1pm. I have coffee and take pills and that takes awhile, then fool around with emails and computer chores. I too think its not a good idea to make myself eat something if I am not hungry. My sleeve was supposed to be a pretty tight small one a la Dr. Cirangle but it is now 12 yers old. I can do a half restaurant hamburger maybe but french fries or other carbs seem to go down fast. DH eats junk food all day which I try hard to avoid but tuna salad on a few crackers works and is appealing. Y'all are reminding me that I am a total failure on protein and need to get back to that.
Wow Peps a big job change! That sounds great! Being the Music Man! To this day I remember the music teacher that went from room to room in my grade school. Mrs. Wolcott. She had a beautiful operatic voice and we all made fun of her pitch pipe! Thats cool that you get to go from school to school. Bravo.
Liz enjoy the porch activities. Porch/deck sitting is a most excellent activity. And so nice you have a helper.
Who knows if I will get my act together on the floors. The company I want to use has been advertising lately so I see that as a good sign.
Just spent time on the phone with the cal tax department so I could get an estimate paid for the gallery. I have been trying to do this for weeks but the web site was down, password didn't work, I had to reapply and get a pin number in the mail, the pin number was only good for a short time and I inadvertently let it expire and on and on. so I had to call a real person. Geez I am dense with computers and I have truly developed a phobia. And in the middle of all this crap I got a new computer which is great but another layer of **** up-ability! Rant over.
Back to the what-to-make for dinner conundrum. Me: "whats the easiest thing I can do?" DH "whatever you like" as he eats a bowl of popcorn.
CC its so good that it seems to be a nice family moving into your house. That means something. But you are going to have a pool! Yay.
Time to go to drug store and then consider protein for both dogs and humans. Why doesn't Purina make "Husband Chow"
Cheers. Diane S
