Scary, happy to have sold it under the wire as I think it's only going to get harder from here, excited to start something new, daunted about getting through the pack/move... Over all good!

Greetings all

A true summer day today. We watched hearings this morning which I find interesting. Then I took Poppy in for a vet appointment only to be told its July 21, not June 21. I had calendared it. Oh well, no harm done other than driving and Poppy howling in the car. So I took her for a walk around the neighborhood to make up for the indignities of car travel. And she had dug under the fence and was in the neighbors yard again so a concrete block in that spot.

Welcome back Bonnie 150! So good to hear from you. Home canned green beans sounds great. And I am with you about fall though summer on the coast is not like summer in the midwest.

CC glad your house is done. I had to read up about what a swamp cooler is and how they work. Sounds like it will be fine in a dry climate. And good on you for getting packers. As I mentioned I had then for china and crystal only but they were fast and that kicks in the insurance for breakage. And worn out shoes! Time for new.

Studio board meeting today. Not much new except a new employee is trying to bring us into this century with our bookkeeping and bill paying. Works for me but I have to do any bank set up. But our financial condition is good.

DH has said nothing about his closet. Thats good. Now if only it will remain tidy.

Little news on the eating front. We have enchilladas from the health food deli. We eat small portions but I confess to sour cream. I could squish everything I eat in one day into a pint container so its not volume. Its bad choices like carbs.

Not much else. I will get to the studio tomorrow if I can tear myself away from political tv.

Cheers Diane S

Interesting that DH didn't say anything about the closet.
