Our Bella couldn't keep all the squirrels away, but she sure could harass them! Bunnies, however, did not nest in our yard when she was on patrol.

I have been experiencing an increase in hunger this last week. And then I remembered I ran out of Pepcid, but since I wasn't having GERD, I didn't run put to get some right away. I am certain the extra hunger I'm feeling is stomach acid. I stopped and got some Pepcid when I was running errands.

Greetings all

Scrabble this morning with the usual suspects. Won two lost one. Its all good.

The de-junking has begun. I am going through the kitchen and putting excess items in a box for the thrift store. Its overflowing. I have only been through a couple of cupboards and shelves. I just hope I have the energy to get something done. House cleaner comes tomorrow and I have to pre clean (ie pick up stuff off the floor and counters) and prepare. I spoke to my neighbor and she has agreed to work for me friday or sat to move stuff around. Multiple tool boxes and a tool cart must leave our bedroom closed.

I am enjoying freedom from figuring out dinners. Deli chicken salad is fine with me and I always used to make DH some sort of dinner. I am really appreciating not worrying about what he will eat.

Peps those pups are adorable. Busy little guys.

Liz sorry for the rain. You will get a time.

CC I hear you on walking at night. In my walking days years ago I used to do 2 or 3 miles at night. It was too hot before sundown and I also liked not seeing anyone. Of course, that was in a super safe neighborhood and I don't feel so safe here.

DD your friend sounds like a piece of work! But I get it. Some people are such an important part of our lives that we overlook a few things. This is the one that cleans and breaks the vacuum, cleaner. right? She probably feels like she is part of your family and it does not occur to her that not everyone is part of everything. You know what to do.

Well I must finish picking up. And its the dog dinner hour.

Diane

I am my husband's biggest fan, but I relish some evenings spent alone to do what I want without considering what he might want or need. Godspeed on the deep junking! Liberating indeed.

Thanks for reminding me my friend is actually my family, like a sister. And I know she tries so hard, but she just crashes through boundaries all the time. One time I did put a very firm boundary in place, she announced to me she was going to go visit my host family in Brazil. I had to say, no, please don't, that this was a part of my life that was mine and mine alone, and i didn't want to share it. After that, she stayed in her lane a bit more, but has seemingly forgotten again.
