Here, a more complete post. :) Yesterday I got a few more plants in the ground and in their pots. DH was helping me and while he was raking he found a little baby bunny. Oh. We accidentally uncovered a rabbit warren. We put the bunny back with his siblings, and tried to put the leaves back to cover the entrance. Hopefully mama came back.
We also went to see Downton Abby movie. I never watched the series, but the story could stand alone. It was a nice way to spend an hour or so.
Today, again, not much planned. We're meeting up with some high school friends at a pizza place that is getting great reviews. And also, is owned by the son of one of the high school friends, so an added reason to go there. :)
I'm not putting a lot of effort into tracking right now, but I have monitored my protein again. I am still surprised how increasing my protein intake makes me feel noticeably more energetic.

Good morning! I took a second short walk last night after it cooled off. It felt really nice out. That brought me to 8200 steps for the day, which is so much better than I have been doing. Upping my walking is my first step. The stress eating is hard to curb and trying to attack both at once feels like too much. So walking first and eating cleaned up a bit, but more earnest food work later. I've also weighed two days in a row. Stopping daily weighing is a sure sign I'm headed for trouble and I did that a while ago.
More walking on tap for today and maybe give myself a manicure.
Lots of checking out of the bait box by the rat (or rats, they aren't wearing name tags). I haven't seen one go inside, but the camera clips are short. I should go see if there are and nibbles out of the poison blocks.
Enjoy your days! DD, why are bunnies so cute and rats are not?
Good afternoon! We had planned to snorkel this morning so left early but it rained (rare here), then the surf was too rough for it. So we went sight-seeing around the less populated parts of the island and saw donkeys and dog's hanging around. We went to the natural bridge which is on the other side of the island and on the rocky rough part of the coastline. Lots of natural beauty very different from the resort area where we stay. Lunch at a local spot on a dock where I had fresh mahi which sounds healthy but it was fried in oil and seasonings. Tonight we are going to another Tiki Bar/pier for dinner and music. It's a tough life (not).
Have a sunny Sunday!

Greetings all
DH got off on his trip. Big plane for this dinky airport. He is now in LA with his sisters and hopefully on the way to Trader Joes. Meanwhile, studio buddy came by and we drank wine and binge watched true crime shows.
And I am plotting getting junk organized and move. So much stuff so little time.
DD don't you just love bird song? Here I think its robins but don't know. Nothing nicer than a quiet weekend with bird sounds. They just reintroduced the condors out here in the redwoods. Three of them. But I bet they don't sing well.
With DH gone I am also released from dinner duty. Tuna and crackers for me tonight.
Not much else. Must maintain my energy.
Have a great week all.
