Our friend is supposed to do a small sand sculpture today. I don't think he feels great so he won't be doing a lot this year. We should probably go help with the water down at the beach.
Not much else to report: DD and BF did go on a party ship last night. I have been on it several times in the past and Mike did it as well last year so we were happy to skip it and just be low-key last night.
Have a thoughtful Thursday!

I take back what I thought about the lawyer buyer. They only want $10,250 in credits and I don't have to fix anything! Shocking. I even tried to get my agent to let me give them a $2000 credit for the dishwasher that is on its last legs and he said, "I know it's eating at you, but it's best if you could leave it all alone and just agree to the $10,250 credit." It is eating at me!
I have my rentals narrowed to 2. The agents are going to do a FaceTime walkthrough on one tomorrow and the other is pending. Things are progressing!
I got my notary stuff done and dropped all the paperwork at the escrow office.
More rat chewing last night. I repositioned the boxes...
That's all I've got (other than a headache). Off to therapy soon.
That's great - Congratulations! The move will be coming fast - I am so excited for you!

Oh Hallelujah one more day, just teachers, and then, yes, summer break.
I've done very little in my yard this year. It was so cold this spring, and then the last few warm weekends have been filled with other things. When DH first told me he was going to wor****il the 18th, I was unhappy. I wanted him to be done on the 10th with me. Now I am glad for a few days to putz around by myself during the day, and to get us ready for pur big east coast adventure.
We had a nice dinner out, just the two of us last night. We talked about going to a free concert tonight, but I'm kind of tired, so maybe we'll just stay home. We have plans tomorrow night and Sunday evening.
Greetings all
Yay CC, told ya the lawyer buyer would be sensible. Most lawyers are like anybody else - although there is probably a higher than average asshold quotient. I am glad to hear you have some rental options and that things are moving right along. Once you make such a big decision its best to get on with it. Now if only Mr. Rat would cooperate. And I sent DH your item on making the font bigger hoping he would just do it for me. No such luck.
Studio time today. There are so many new people I must get to know. Maybe tomorrow.
I am looking forward to the hearings tonight. Regardless of political views I think its an important part of history to be witnessed. Besides, I am at the age where politics is entertainment.
Quick trip to the store where I bought some vegetables and stuff for the dogs to eat. Tomorrow is pill day which means I must have liver sausage. I used to like the stuff but these days its icky.
DD some of my sweet peas are up and have a few flowers! Pink ones. Wish they were mixed but those were the ones that got nipped. Enjoy your free time DD.
Yay for sand sculpture Liz.
More ham tonight and I will need to freeze the rest. But at least there are veggies even if DH won't eat them. T-minus 3 days until he goes to see his sisters. I hope I have enough good energy days to get some stuff moved. As an old person I am painfully aware of the concept of good days vs bad days.
We want puppies we want puppies we want puppies! You know who you are.
Cheers all. Diane S
