I hate shoes! But I really hate socks. I struggled to find them in southern CA for January in MI. They only sell short ankle workout socks here!
I wear flip-flops year round (except during our brief time in Massachusetts around Christmas). They are the next best thing to barefoot (which I prefer too). Closed shoes are awful!
