Peps
on 6/1/22 3:20 pm

Well, I shirked my civic duty and called in Covid exposed to jury duty. It is true. I have been exposed to Covid within the past week, so I am not lying, at least! I just didn't have it in me. I could have just not shown, but that seems a bit irresponsible. I will get a card in the mail with rescheduling instructions.

Back to working - hopefully with regularity - now that pups are all on track. I am already sore from last night's workout.

It is warm out - 90. But it's a dry heat.... LOL! We are trying to keep the AC off because the pups can't regulate their body temps yet adn it is not good for them to get chilled.

I was super down yesterday afternoon and evening. I think everything just finally caught up to me. During my workout I had to close my eyes doing work in front of the mirror because I felt so negative about my appearance - double chin, bat wings, side boobs, and of course the belly..... Feeling somewhat better today, I think. Still just feeling kind of "done in".

Eating protein forward today. Best I got!

Sending love your way. You're marvelous, exactly as you are. But I think we all understand the self-criticism and flagellation intimately.

Feel your pain. How long are we supposed to chase the ideal image? When can we just be? Your body can do incredible things that the majority of people cannot.

Greetings all

Another day on the planet. Housekeeper came this morning which means I am required to sit and play computer games for two hours. Then my friend came over - she has the puppy we called Batgirl" - to collect a gifted piggy and play with Poppy. That lasted several hours. Even old Chip had a good time. Then off to two different banks for different organizations. The people that work there look like they are 12 years old.

So that pretty much shot the day. The good news is I didn't eat much since I was occupied. But I got almost shakey hungry late in the day so I had tuna salad on crackers. More shrimp tonight.

DD good for you for staying home. Totally necessary. And good on you Peps for escaping jury duty. Not a good time for any teacher to get called especially on with puppies.

Liz glad Justice got through the cleaning. And have a safe trip to Aruba.

Shirley you are such a ball of fire! All the stuff you get done amazes me. And I agree with you on not having little ones around when calves are "fixed".

CC all the best on the escrow going through. I bet it does. Just a feeling. All your work has really paid off.

Time to fix dog dinners. Cheers all. Diane S
