Tomorrow it will be June! And we leave for Aruba in 4 days. I think I will start packing things like dresses and bathing suits since I won't wear them the rest of the week. And tonight we meet with the DJ for our party to finalize that. All will be nailed down after that except I need to make the centerpieces.

Mike wants to fit in Top Gun at some point this week. I would rather do it when it is raining but we will see. He has ruled out driving 1 hour to go to an IMAX theatre (thank goodness). I am sure I will enjoy the movie but I am never thrilled abou****ching movies at a theatre (I prefer my own couch).

The sun is coming out so I think we will take Justice for a long walk in a while.

Something like Top Gun is better on the big screen! But Imax makes me queasy. So does 3D when that's an option. I read he initially didn't want to make the movie and now it's his biggest opening weekend ever. And at the tail end of Covid no less.

I got a second offer. This one is under asking. There is supposedly a third coming, but he's not holding his breath for that real estate agent. We talked yesterday and agreed the first is the best. I signed the counter, which is more just clarifying who will be the escrow company etc. I think his urgency to fix or research fixes is born of him not wanting me to lose this offer as it's really good and there isn't much else in the wings. They just sold their house for $300k over asking, so he thinks $100k over feels like a deal to them.

I contacted a real estate agent in Sedona about rentals and haven't heard back, but it was a holiday and I imagine they don't get many of those. I also need to contact movers. Eek.

Today I have a board meeting and another meeting about funding for the board. Not fun. Still wishing I never agreed to this and counting down my remaining 29 months...

Also, I got my test results back on my nodules! They appear benign. She thinks 4 is "alot" to do the ablation on, but in my research it is done. I asked if the surgeon who does it does consultations because I would like his opinion. She's checking. I know there is a doctor who does a lot of them in Phoenix, so that may be an option too if the CA thing doesn't work out timingwise.

I really need to eat better as I seem to say every day. i know I will feel better and look better if I do!

Got a third offer. $20k over asking. We're going to pursue the first!

Sorry Cec - I didnt say in my post - good news re the nodules. I have them too and my DR has decided we will just ultrasound each year to see if they have grown.

DH had to go See Top Gun on his own. I absolutely hated the first one, so no way was I going to see this one. It was his day off though, and he doesn't mind going by himself to the first showing. He says its a lot of "older" folks by themselves, eating popcorn, watching the movie. :) I like to see movies by myself sometimes too, but I'm able to do that less often. Anyhow, he liked it. He's an Air force brat so Aviation stuff is always interesting to him. So Liz, hopefully you and Mike will follow CC and get a kick out of it.

I got my 4th shot today, and decided to put in for a sub in case I didn't feel good tomorrow. In other cir****tances, I would NOT do this, but all my classes are watching the Odyssey tomorrow, and can easily do that without me.

Still trying to focus on getting 25grams of protein in one sitting 2 times a day. Don't think I could do it without a protein shake. I'm hoping I don't get sick of them. Protein focus has not resulted in weight loss, but I do feel better.

I think I'll take a little nap, or a little snooze as my Dad likes to say, internet feta pasta is in the oven baking, so I've got about 50 minutes or so.

It was this recipe that was an internet sensation last winter. It features roasted tomatoes, so probably not sensational to you. :)

That feta pasta is great isn't it? I did enjoy the movie! I didn't like all the flight stuff in the first or second but the story was good and we sure didn't get bored!

BTW, that Fairlife Salted Caramel is so MUCH better than Quest's version. I have 1/2 of one as a snack a few times and I really enjoy it.
