Many articles on Mass shootings in the paper today of course. Basically it boils down to the fact that there are too many guns out there and not enough gun control. Other countries enact gun control laws after Mass shootings. The US looks the other way.

On the more positive side, today we are meeting with the event manager at the restaurant to finalize our food choices, etc. I will be glad when everything is locked down. Good thing we didn't do a full wedding!

So glad to hear that the puppies are well even though a C-section was needed. Get some sleep Peps and enjoy the little ones!

It sounds like you really hit the sweet spot, private wedding on the beach, lovely party to celebrate with friends. Back when I got married in the 80s, I wanted the big princess wedding, because that's what you did. When I see my daughter's friends weddings, wow! Personalized gift boxes to ask friends to be bridesmaids, weekends away for bridal party with coordinating clothes and photo shoots... I'm glad I didn't have those expectations too.

9 more days with students. I've got lesson plans through next Friday for one of my classes, and then I'm going to have to punt for a few days.

DH is going out tonight, do I stopped by the fancy grocery store to load up on some of their awesome salads and soups in the deli. No cooking for me. Yeah!

Sounds as dreadful as a PromPosal or giant gender reveal party! I blame Pinterest and Instagram for the nonsense...

2 showings down today and I escaped to coffee with a friend for one and to the park for the second. And then therapy. A full day.

Tomorrow is house cleaners then nothing so far in the afternoon. No offers yet. I wish I knew what people think!

I wish I was closer to Peps to go help and cuddle with puppies. Sounds like a lot of work, but heavenly at the same time.

Still need to work on food and exercise. That part of my life is a big mess right now...

Greetings all

A pleasant day for us. We signed our tax returns. Now I send in checks. But it is nice in a small town where we know the accountant personally and the staff. Then it was on to the grocery for DH to get sprouted almonds which he thinks are special. Pot pie tonight.

Seemed like the phone was ringing all morning. Our friends that tested covid positive finally got back but they tested positive again upon return. They say they are not sick except they have colds and think the covid test was false positive. Apparently not.

Yay DD a no cook night when you can eat whatever you like.

DH is planning to go see his sisters who will all be in southern cal later in June. Tee tee while the cats away the mice will toss stuff.

And my brother is still threatening to come visit! He lives a very luxurious life. Just wait until he sees our dump!

Haha, mouse will be busy! This mouse gets rid of some stuff too when the cat's away! (Respectfully of course, because some stuff I consider junk is actually his treasure. But also, it can't ALL be treasure)
