These last two were both 18. How much has the last few years of the pandemic affected our youth? They say experts are seeing that the mental toll on kids has been extensive. Lots of mental illness created or worsened by isolation. I worry how many other unstable would-be shooters we've created.

Agreed. So many people need help. But it's alll so discouraging.

And seriously I had Bo idea what key I hit to make that post big and bold. Guess my computer was channeling me. I will probably get in trouble with OH.

It is worth yelling about! So horrible that this keeps happening. How can our children or anyone feel safe?

I feel so hopeless. When those 20 little souls were murdered at Sandy Hook, nothing changed. These 20 little souls will not change anything either. As a country we either lack the will to do what needs to be done, or we are willing to accept that there will be mass shootings. Our school district sent an email about how to talk with kids if they bring it up, and asked us to be extra vigilant because of copy cat incidents. Ugh.
