I am finally getting my hair cut and highlighted today! It has been over 3 months and boy is it needed. That's a long time for short hair. When I worked I had it done every 4 weeks, but then moved to every 6 so it has been twice as long. I can't wait!

The pollen count here is rising minute by minute. It is usually almost like a yellow haze here in late May/early June. I am looking out of my foggy looking sunroom windows and realizing that window washing will have to wait until late June or will have to be redone. Though we will probably put the deck furniture out before the pollen fully subsides, that always causes a big cleanup to have to be done after the pollen too. But it is too nice out to not sit on the deck!

Nothing else planned today other than the hair. Mike and DS are golfing this afternoon. Nice way for them to get more acquainted.

Have a safe and healthy Wednesday!

Thyroid biopsies are done! It wasn't that awful. She numbed me with an ice pack then using an ultrasound, figured out where she wanted to sample. There were 7. Some hurt more than others as she could only use liquid nitrogen spray to numb further on the first one. she gave me a stress ball to squeeze. Excellent idea. I'm bruised, but the swelling disappeared over night. Anyway, a week and I should have results. Ooh, and they weighed me. Yuck.

More painting today... And more sorting for me. And maybe a run to Goodwill, or at least making a pile for them.

But first, more coffee!

Hope you all have good days!

That's good that it wasn't too uncomfortable. Fingers and toes crossed that the results are good.

CC so glad the biopsies are done and were not too horrible. Stress ball sounds like a good idea. For lots of things. Hope the results turn out as you hope. More coffee indeed. And why do all doctors think they need to weigh us all the time? Who made that rule? A friend of mine used to refuse. I once offered the medical assistant a cash bribe to lie about my weight. A joke - well sort of...

Liz, the golf outing sounds very nice. DS seems like he has decided he wants to know Mike and have a relationship with him.

We have a cottonwood by our deck that drops sticky seeds every spring, but like you, I put some furniture out anyhow. And we have an old silver maple that produces those helicopter seeds. I understand you can buy them "seedless" now. They are a pain, but not so much that I would ever want to take down the tree.

Another work day completed. Dinner is in the oven, our son is staying tonight also. He's at one of his company's production plants, doing engineering work I don't really understand. We're just happy it brings him to Minneapolis from time to time.

Good Morning All

Second last day of the working week here Yay and the big tender has been submitted so I am relieved. I got up at 5am this morning to run DH to the train station as his Ute is in being repaired (after a guy backed into his bullbar whilst he was stationery) I then drove to my aunts house to drop off a couple of meals and some eggs. She is recovering from covid and exhausted, my uncle has serious health and mobility issues and has just been diagnosed. I just feel so sorry for her and was happy I could at least drop off a meal so thats one thing she doesnt have to think about today. Got to work at 6.15am so I will be looking forward to walking out the door later.

Liz - hope you feel a million $ after your cut & colour. I go every 4 weeks as my gray hair grows fiercly!

CC - Hugs and take it a little easier today

DD - enjoy your visit with your son. I love it when ours come home for a meal

Hello to all that follow - I had best keep working or I wont get anything achieved today

Have a wonderful afternoon all
