PPS - one of the painters whistles. Constantly. No tune, random, irritating as all get out. Day 8 of annoying whistling!

Liz, I hope Mike's wife is out of his house, and out of your hair soon! People like her usually latch onto some other poor soul, hopefully she won't try to get her kids to prop her up.

The weather here continues to be nice. And a nice surprise, DS has to come to Minneapolis for work, so he'll be staying with us for 2 nights.

Not much else to say, just marching through each day, with some highlights and a few arghh now what. The highlights are always the kids. They make me laugh so much some days!

Food was pretty decent so far, but after the treatfest at my parent's house, I'm still thinking a lot about carbs. Trying to remember, protein first, because I feel so much better when I do.

Big day for me. Scrabble in the am. One of our regulars has covid so one player does two games at once. I managed to win two and lost one on the last play. This one guy is a walking dictionary. Knows all these weird words.

The next mission was to take the new iPad to our studio director which I arranged to have purchased for her. DH is totally in his element helping someone set up and select features. Also a new employee is helping get the office there organized and get rid of paper.

CC you are a super handy person! Good on you for getting all this stuff done. Bet your house sells in 15 minutes.

We had roast tri tip from the deli last night. It was kind of tough. I think I will chop it up and cook some onions and potatoes and make some kind of hash. Anyone eat that as a kid? We often had some kind of hash that my grandmother would make out of whatever was around.

I never heard of ICU phychosis. Gotta look that up.

Its sunny today which means the tourists will be flocking. I work at the gallery tomorrow and it will mean I have things to do. Works for me and if the weather stays nice I can leave the door open

Yeah I was looking at my sample ballot last night. There are a lot of people I never heard of running for office. I am most interested in local stuff such as district attorney and judges but haven't decided. There is also a county supervisor race in our district and the incumbent is a good guy and the opposition is sort of a carpet bagger.

Not much else. DD is right, we all should focus on protein.
