And we are off to Winchester VA for the night. Just a quick stop then we will drive to Massachusetts tomorrow to see DD on her birthday. Lots of family time this weekend!
But we will be back in Nashville at some point in the future. Such a fun place!
Time to go. Have a safe and healthy Thursday.

Update on my friend's son: they removed his breathing tube yesterday and he has been talking constantly since so no brain injury. He realized that his hand was gone last night and reassured his Dad who was crying that he would be fine. A veterans support organization has provided an apartment nearby for the family while their son is in the hospital.

Greetings
Last night was a fright. Got a call from my friend who lives near here who owns one of the puppies. Sassy got out! Some dodo doing work at the place left a gate open. My friend Alex was in a state of total despair and so was I! DH helped us put up notices on lost pet web pages. Miraculously, Alex drove to the neighbors house this morning to resume search, opened the truck door, and Sassy appeared out of no where and jumped into the truck! YAY. We were all so worried all night. Alex lives on an average in the woods and there is a large tract of timber property there which has coyotes. Dangerous. I think she should get a GPS collar for this dog as once on an adventure she will try again.
Not much else but that was enough excitement for one day. Pot pie for dinner last night and tonight will likely be leftover mexican food as DH is about to go to lunch. He is loaning his ozone generator to a friend. I did not know we even had this thing. Oh well.
Have a good day all. More later maybe.

Elementary School Open House tonight. Oh joy! One thing I won't miss when I retire. Though I do love how excited the kids get about showing off their work. That I will miss. The dog and pony show I will not miss.
Hmmm.... Did you know that 4 large eggs contain the same number of calories as a Noah's bagel? Bagel has 10 grams of protein, 1 gram fat, 54 grams carbs. 4 large eggs 24 grams protein, 20 grams fat, 0 carbs. Fat vs. no fat..... carbs vs. no carbs..... calories in vs. calories out..... Oh so interesting, isn't it? Where do you all fall? Does it boil down to how what you eat makes you feel???? Or do you subscribe to a specific eating philosophy?
Tomorrow is a short day at school. I am so looking forward to leaving by 12:45 or 1:00 pm. I have only one grooming scheduled for the weekend. I plan to sleep in on Sunday and make sure I have the bedroom all set up for my mama dogs by Sunday afternoon.
Off to hang up animal report posters.
If it's eggs vs. bagels, I'd go with the eggs, because I would feel better. But like CC, I would have 2eggs and half the bagel if that were an option. But what I had for breakfast today: a fair life salted caramel protein drink (30 gr protein, 4gr carbs) with a shot of espresso, and left over Cesar salad for some bulk (about 4gr. Of carbs, lots of fat grams). Unconventional, but got me a good blast of protein, and kept me full until lunch. :)
