DH and I did go out, and I had a ridiculously priced steak (also very delicious) at his urging, along with 2 glasses of Malbec. Finished the delicious but expensive steak in the less swanky setting of the teacher's lunchroom. And also no Malbec.

My two meetings didn't resolve anything for my students, but maybe some baby steps forward.

Hoping to have the energy for a low key work out tonight. Although I hear thunder in the distance, so will REALLY have to fight the urge to take a nap!
