Next up is a biopsy on the 17th (I hear that in my head as "bibopsy" after My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Maybe they'll find my twin with teeth and a spinal column!). Then comes the decision...

Good Morning All

Start of the working week again for me- the weekends fly but it was a reasonable one. Friday night was quiet then Saturday we put a new floor in the chook house. Let the rats n mice try and eat thru GAL STEEL. DH wasnt great while we worked but insisted on finishing. Stubborn much !!!! By lunchtime he was in bed with a big dose of Gastro. I spent the day pottering and running in more hydration fluids, drugs etc etc and wiping every surface a million times when he left the confines of bed. I am thankful to have missed it and the house has been deep cleaned and all linen etc washed. Needless to say our dinner plans Saturday night were cancelled.

Sunday I took my neighbour out to breakfast as she still cant drive due to a hip replacement. It was a nice catch up. DSS and his partner and my beautiful grandbabies called past to drop off a get well card for Papa. He spoke to them outside. Courtney and I took the boys to the park for a play. It was a lovely surprise visit. I went car seat shopping with her later in the afternoon then dropped her home. Made a big batch of Fried Rice for dinner and will freeze the rest for lunches.

Today is just work and then Im going to buy a carseat for our car so we can have one for each of the boys. So not much on the agenda. I plan to make a quick chicken stir fry with noodles for dinner tonight - plus a desert to take to DSS tomm night - they are making us dinner before DH goes away for work again.

Liz - Height of rudeness from BB girl GRRR. Enjoy your remaining time at your Florida home. Change is always hard but often opens up wonderful new beginnings

DD- So glad you had a lovely visit with your son and he sounds much happier. That would make your heart full :)

CC - I have Duke on my list for when I can get to the movies. Hope your remaining days with your friend go well :)

Diane S - so glad the pottery sale went well.

Peps - How are you feeling. I hope everything has settled down.

I had best go tackle this to do list. Have a tender submission due tommorrow and another in 2 weeks. Best get organised.

Have a wonderful evening

Germs are funny things! Sharing a house for the 12 days of my horrendous cold and my friend is totally fine...

Gastrointestinal illness is nasty! I am glad you dodged that. You are probably right that after the pandemic shut-down everything is going to be around. A lot of younger friends and their kids have recently had the flu - usually it is subsiding in the spring and recurs in late fall but apparently not this year.
