Last day of April! 3 days until I sell my Florida home and 10 days until we turn North. Time definitely flies! We are staying at my place for the last 3 nights so I can do final cleaning and we can visit a couple of places on that coast.

Time to get changed for our morning walk, then pack and drive 3 hours to the "Left" coast.

Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

I am really a fan of the gulf coast, but your pictures of Vero Beach make it very appealing. The two of you are off on so many adventures, wonderful that you found a kindred spirit.

Diane, I feel your pain on the infighting at the Studio. I think there are some people sho can never be satisfied, and always have to object to some procedure. And it seems there is always one in every group. You just want to say, if you can't add anything positive, just get out of the way and let those who can take care of it.

Warmish here, but rain for a couple of days. Thunderstorm last night, always feels awesome to be cozy in bed while the lightning flashes and the thunder booms.

I'm making "the boys" some lunch, and then I assume they'll be off to some adventure. I might do a little shopping, or I might read a book. Nice to have options.

A walk to the shops this morning was in order resulting in some groceries, a prescription, Starbucks, and the bank. We're going to the movies this afternoon to see The Duke and dinner at a delish burger place.

I am hooked on word games right now. Wordle, WordHurdle, Quordle, Phrazle, and now NYTimes crossword puzzles and Spelling Bee. I love Spelling Bee! Enough that I signed up for a subscription to NYTimes Games. I would like to be better at crossword puzzles too. Right now I feel too stupid to complete anything more than the Monday puzzle and make a small dent in the others. I think there is a trick to thinking like a crossword writer - a skill I need to develop.

We finished The Truth About Pam last night. So enjoyable! Which feels wrong to say considering real people are dead, but still, the format and acting were very entertaining.

What About Pam is such a crazy story, it's hard to wrap your head around the fact that its true! It is retold for this series masterfully, which is why we all got hooked, right?

Greetings all

Today's mission was to remove pants from the closet that don't fit. It sure emptied a lot of hangers. Some are quite nice that I purchased in my super skinny days after VSG. Well that did not last long so someone else can enjoy them. A full laundry basket of them. Now if I can just get a box of knick knacks full it will be worth a trip to the one thrift store that reliably takes most anything. The nearby ones are snooty or just have no room.

I am also cleaning off my desk/counter today. And I mean cleaning - as in dirt and dust removal. I found some sort of remote and I have no idea what its for. Time for bye bye.

Hey CC, I love word games too!. I play on line scrabble all the time as well as words with friends. I will pm you the scrabble site. Its fun. Games with a real person somewhere at what ever level you choose. I also like the crosswords and take them with me whenever I work at the gallery. But the NYtimes ones are pretty hard. I usually do the local dumb ones.

Thunderstorms DD! I used to love those when I was a kid. I still do but now I get nervous about what might get damaged and the one dog gets super scared and tries to dig holes in the carpet. And I bet you have seen thunder and lightning in the snow!

So I am going to resist the urge to get *****y with the certain annoying gallery person and instead try to discover what is really bothering her in the hope of convincing her its not a problem. Thats the whole thing this person does - raise issues that are not really problems. However, she has suggested the gallery buy a safe to keep cash in which I think is ridiculous. A safe just says "steal me". I would not care except I do our cash deposits so I will have to deal with it. ***** ***** *****

Well the chicken for last night will get cooked tonight. With asparagus.

CC now go watch the NBC show of the Real Thing About Pam and see the real deal. We are back to watching Ozark which just released new episodes. Dark and weird but we like it. No exploding aliens.

Peps you are probably at shows. Hope you are over your illness.

Well, time to look for more crud to throw away. Tossing is liberating!!

I wish you could find my reading glasses for me. I used them here yesterday afternoon and can't find them now. But there is almost nothing here so I must have put them somewhere!?!?
