After some lovely spring-like days here with low humidity and a lot of breeze it looks like we are in for warmer, cloudier, shower-prone weather, so more of a summer pattern. Luckily we did use the good weather to enjoy the beach.

Today I am going to look at some consignment shops for a chest/table to replace the modern glass ****tail table. I brought a couple of other small tables to replace the matching end tables but I am not a fan of the remaining one. If I have to live with dark leather sofas now I'd like softer furniture around it. Here is the current table (with my decorations on it):

Not much else on the agenda other than Lobster Night at the clubhouse this evening. Probably too much food for me to do it justice but it will be enjoyable. LOL, my iPad just autocorrected justice to be capitalized (apparently it is used to me writing about my Justice).

Have a safe and healthy Wednesday!

My back went out again - during an in service. I sat down on a kid chair. That was it. I am so sick of this sh*t! I have the regionals starting tomorrow and my back is disabling me. I am pissed!

Then after slowly and carefully loading up the RV with a lot of help from Ron, I noticed that the shop hadn't even touched the damaged AC unit on the top. I am livid!

Comfort eating happened yesterday. Go figure.

So in a nutshell: crippled, frustrated and pissed.

So sorry things aren't going well. No wonder you are frustrated and pissed.

Still haven't heard from my doctor about my thyroid test. Grr. I think she's swamped with too many patients. Did you know there's a endocrinologist shortage in the country? Only 4000 I think. When you think of all the diabetics in this country, plus people with bad thyroids, that's not enough.

I'm onto the colonoscopy part of this week's festivities. But I did manage to squeeze in a Starbucks latte, pizza, eggs and an english muffin, and goldfish crackers between my last test and my first Dulcolax doses last night. Clear liquids today. I'm drinking beef broth right now. Actually tastes pretty good. Gross when you think about what it is, like a cow's bathwater! But beggars can't be choosers. The real fun starts at 5 when I take the first 7 of 14 miralax servings followed by two Dulcolax chasers. I'm horrified, a little frightened and intrigued by what this will be like!

I got my termite report back, but haven't opened it. Feels overwhelming at the moment and I don't cope well with overwhelm. I know once tomorrow is over, I will have some breathing room.

Scale was down today (should be!).

My stepdaughter has thyroid issues and she has struggled to find a good endocrinologist. She actually travels to NYC to see one and he is out of her health network.

Very different colonoscopy prep than I have had in the past. Good luck!!!!

I suggest having good reading material handy, I even set up a folding tv tray by the toilet to hold my book, phone etc so I don't have to even lean over during "intense" phases. And, do people even have tv trays anymore? We got a set for a wedding present back in 1987.
