Everything Everywhere All at Once is the weirdest movie I have ever seen in all my days. And I usually love a weird movie (Big Lebowski, Fargo, etc). This was off the charts weird. Which made me think, I haven't seen a great movie since the start of Covid. Either only crappy movies are being made or I have outgrown the current style. Why does no one make movies like When Harry Met Sally or any 90s Tom Hanks movie anymore? A movie where you walk out with a sigh feeling uplifted? Not perplexed and in need of a brain bleach.

Today should only be in the mid-80s. Hallelujah. My friend is hiking and having coffee with a good friend of hers, so my day is free. Today the colonoscopy diet restrictions of no nuts or seeds get layered on the thyroid test restrictions. So raspberries, tomatoes, cucumbers, unsalted nuts are all out. I'm so tired of not eating what I want! Just a few more days.

Taking a big box of stuff to a shredding event today. So a quick search to see if there is anything else to add to the box is in order.

That's I have. I hope you all have great days!

When movie theaters first reopened, I saw a few bad movies too, just for the thrill of being able to go out. The last movie I saw was Licorice Pizza, and parts of it were funny, parts were weird, and some parts, for me, were disturbing. That was about 3 months ago, there isn't a lot out right now that looks compelling ...

Yesterday my little nap turned out to be 3.5 hours, but I was still able to sleep a solid 8 hours last night, so I guess my sleep tank was very low indeed. I had dinner with DH when he got home at 8, and then binge watched the final 3 episodes of Bridgerton, Season 2. It's a lot of silly fluff, but I still find it a nice escape.

Not much else going on here. DH is 62 today, and as far as I'm concerned, he can now semi retire whenever he wants. He's still deciding.

Off to the jazz club later on this evening. Someplace we haven't been before, so a new adventure of sorts.

Happy Saturday everyone!

Greetings all

Geez its super windy here again today. I saw the neighbors wrestling a mattress into a van and I thought they were going to achieve lift off.

I took gallery cash to the bank just now. We had a huge sales day yesterday. Someone bought a $2700 item and paid in cash. $2000 in twenty dollar bills plus other cash and sales and the previous days sales. The member on duty called me to come get it since we don't like leaving big sums there overnight. This one annoying person thinks we should get a safe but I say the safest place is the bank.

On the way there I saw an awful looking car wreck aftermath. An suv was upside down and badly smashed and there was a tree in the road that the suv hit hard enough to chop it off. Other trees were damaged. Whatever people were in that car were already gone but they had the road blocked off due to the tree. This tree was at least a foot in diameter. Must have been a terrific amount of force to take a live tree down.

CC thanks for the movie tip. I like weird stuff too such as Fargo but there is weird and then there is mind F---. We have not been in a theatre for over 2 years but there is not much appealing out there. Plus there is way too much on tv. And I can drink wine here at home. Anyone seen the Cyrano movie?

So I was thinking about this: I bought some mini cucumbers which I love. But they are mostly water. In fact, most vegetables are in large par****er. So why not just drink water. Yeah I know thats not the right answer and that veggies have vitamins and fiber but it makes you think. I bought other stuff at the store for tomorrow's pseudo Easter at friends.

DH has now managed to clear all the junk off the treadmill so I can use it if I wish. Lets see, do I want to walk the treadmill or do I want to take a nap....

Steak tonight. Thats about it.

I saw the Cyrano movie. :) I thought the cinematography was stunning, very lush. There was a sing that made me cry towards the end. Recommend it if you are in the mood for an artsy kind of movie.
