Moving day (1 of 2). We pick up the truck in less than an hour and the stuff leaving here is staged in the garage. Three hour drive to Port Charlotte (in a truck LOL). Two friends are meeting us there to help unload and load the truck and fill boxes. My head thinks there isn't much to pack but I am almost positive there is going to be way more than I remember. The goal today is to get it showing ready, take new pictures, and return the cable boxes. Then out to dinner tonight with our friends.
It will be mind-boggling for Justice but he is always happy as long as he is with us.
Yesterday I booked the hotels for our return trip in May. Two nights in Nashville, one on the way in Virginia and one near DD's home so we can see her for her birthday. Then over to NY for Mike's granddaughter's first communion. Long trip to get home, but not as long as our first fall driving down here together in 2020.
Eating stunk yesterday. Lots of snacking because I am getting nervous. Keeping busy today should be a plus in that regard.
Have a safe and healthy Monday!

I just want my normal coffee!!!
Today I may or may not have a plumber coming. He called this morning, but said it may be today, may be tomorrow. Personally, I prefer "I'll be there at 11". But a plumber on one day's notice is a gift horse not to look in the mouth. My friend is coming Thursday and the bathroom next to the room she's staying in has never been used! (I have a lot of bedrooms/bathrooms). But when bathrooms aren't used things like the temperature cartridges in the single handle shower faucets stop letting in ho****er and the sink faucets leak (I didn't use them so I just turned the water off, but that doesn't fly when you're selling or having people stay with you). So I'm having him fix 2 showers and 2 sink faucets.
I also touch up painted the ceiling in the office where I had accidentally hit them in a few small spots with the wall color years ago. And hung a picture that had just been leaning where I wanted it for years. Funny the things you live with...
My dad is at Mayo getting checked. Fingers double crossed they don't find anything and he really can live his life with no cancer worries.
Argh, it was so tough to get up this morning and drag myself to work. I slept so poorly, I was tempted to stay home. But I knew the work would still be there, so why not go get it done when I have the luxury of a day without students in the building. So off I went, and I did get a chunk done.
Not sure if I have the energy or will to go workout. Perhaps DH will be persuasive, he often is. :)
Liz, hope you didn't get too bounced in the truck. Justice sure has an interesting life, he travels a lot more than many of us.
