We are leaving to drive to a state park with lots of coral for snorkeling in 15 minutes (at 7:15). We have been up since 6. Yuck! I hate getting up and going before the sun comes up. Mike thought a 10:30 event time would work fine but didn't factor in the drive and advance time to get ready when we arrive there. Oh well... Hopefully we won't have to do this again for a while.
Have a safe and healthy Monday!

We're supposed to get rain today. It's gray and windy out, so I hope they are right!
I have my pre-colonoscopy appointment today.
The diet has begun. I found a coconut creamer that has no salt, carrageenan, soy, other sea-based thickeners, or milk products. It was as tasty as you can imagine. I found out my allergy pill to prevent hives has some lactose in it, but f$#& it, it's half the size of my pink nail and the diet is low iodine, not no iodine. And I can't handle the hives for 2 weeks.
I've added some green to my toes today. Thankfully, there is now zero pain, just major discoloration. Probably not helped by my anti-coagulants. Just enough to gross people out, but clearly no broken bones. I even think I could put on a shoe if I felt like it.
Off to my appointment... take care all!
I had a dog show weekend, dinner with my brother for his b'day on Friday and dinner with out of town friends on Saturday. After showing yesterday, I was pooped!
My back is better, but quite a ways off from being 100%. Hoping by the week's end I will be fully recovered. I am walking without a cane and was able to show the dogs all weekend. I also didn't use the TENS unit at all yesterday and so far not today either.
I am trying to dial back the comfort eating I started with the back injury. So far, so good. My plan is to eat dinner early to see if that helps me make some positive changes to eating behaviors.
Just trying to get back into the groove today. I had weird, weird dreams and 6:15 came far too early today!
Cecily, those bruises are epic! Good heavens! Looks so sore.
Peps, I sure do hope your back continues to mend.
Liz, When I went snorkeling in Key West so many years ago, I saw a stingray, which both thrilled and scared me. Hope you saw some awesome creatures.
Spent the day floating in the pool (I brought some floating with that I ordered from Amazon), reading, and then, when pur friends arrived, chatting. Off to dinner in a few minutes. Feeling very relaxed, very !!
