Getting up in the dark again stinks!

Two days until the wedding - I am worried about the weather now as there is a chance of showers on Wednesday.

Oh and figuring out how to change to a Florida drivers license is a pain. I have a Massachusetts Drivers license/Real ID but don't know if I need to supply the Real ID documentation again to get the same in Florida. And my Florida registration renewal document for the car I keep here seems to be lost somewhere (the current one expires onWednesday). Arghhh...

Time to go get a shower. We have to take a fecal sample for Justice to a vet here to check prior to boarding him for 2 days.

Havea safe and healthy Monday!

I'm turning nocturnal! I was up until 3, then slept until 11. Oops. But I was doing stuff late so, at least there was productivity.

I cleaned out a closet looking for a shower curtain rod I swear I bought, but is nowhere to be found. In that closet I found a wallet I haven't used since college with the social security card I've been looking for 28 years and my Blockbuster Video card. Anyone want to rent a movie Friday?

Today I am going to call the rug cleaners to get two of my wool area rugs picked up and cleaned. Also need to get rolling on my taxes. And maybe take a load over to Salvation Army.

Must get started, I woke up behind!

You don't want to know how many things I am sure I purchased, tucked away, then couldn't find later.

Well, I don't know whether to spit or cry! My low back completely spasmed this morning at work. The completely amusing part of the story is that it happened while wiping my ass with my pants around me ankles! I had a momentary vision of terror when I thought I might need to call the day janitor into the bathroom to help me pull up my pants! ACK! Luckily, that was not necessary. I have taken 4 Advil in hopes that the anti inflammatory properties work on the spasm.

I'm kind of done with this back treatment thing.... I'm wondering now if my new guy's approach was a bit too aggressive for my more developed back muscles. He doesn't work with many people in my physical strength level. Clearly my muscles have rebelled. I am hoping that I am in good enough shape for the dog shows this weekend. If not, I'm going to be sad. This level of pain makes it hard to be at school. I'm really quite annoyed.

Happy, happy to everyone else. Hope your days are WAY better than the one I am having.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Oh no!! That spasm feeling is so awful. And in such a vulnerable position no less! Can you get some ziplocs full of ice for your bac**** first my doctor said.

I am so sorry that your back is rebelling. There isn't much worse than that.

Greetings all

Its Monday but days of the week don't mean as much as they once did. The beauty of being retired. I convinced DH to get cardboard out of the garage. Getting from the car to the door had become an agility course. Better now but there is still a big stack of e-waste (old VCR, computer towers etc). At least its better arranged.

Studio time today. Its an active place again. Our director is back to work after her trauma and is seeking some counseling and I am glad. Our staff there is such a bunch of nice people. One young guy is really level headed as well as kind. I wish he was my kid.

Liz hoping the weather holds. Sending good energy. The only good thing about covid is that I got to renew my drives license on line when I was at an age that you are supposed to go in. Tee tee

Oh boooooooo on your back issues Peps. So sorry you have pain. Advil to the rescue indeed. Hope this pain passes and its a fluke and not a habit. Don't know what to think about your chiropractic treatment but you are wise to be cautious. And I hope you can make it to the dog shows! One reason I don't do it anymore is because if I get down on the ground I cant get back up without a piece of furniture. Please take care.

CC you rock on getting rid of stuff. Funny about the video card. I probably still have one. Astonishing what you find in drawers and cupboards. You are inspiring me. Maybe I will get a load of stuff to the rescue mission store which takes about anything.

Thats about it here. Time for tuna salad.

My eWaste trip is tomorrow! A computer, 3 obsolete Sonos speakers (don't get me started on how wrong they are to make their speakers obsolete given how expensive they are!), and a printer.

Good Morning All

Tuesday here already and back at work after a lovely long weekend. Friday night caught up with DSD and her partner for dinner in the city, Saturday I went to an outdoor concert at a local vineyard (all female lineup and they were amazing) - It was a fabulous day/night. Sunday DH and I had high tea at a local vineyard - using up a farewell gift from my previous boss and his wife. Monday I cooked lots and also went over to visit DSS, his partner and my grandbabies (with food of course)

Im out to see Jimmy Rees tommorrow night - DH was supposed to come but is back up in Brisbane for 3-4 weeks so my best friends hubby is taking his ticket. It should be fun. Not a lot else on for the rest of the week. I will go to the farm Friday night after work - mowing Saturday then Im meeting a gf for breakfast Sunday on the way back down to City House. It feels wonderful to be socialising again......

Liz - Im so excited for you. Hope the weather behaves and you can enjoy every perfect moment xxx

Cec - You are having a huge clean up. Go you - PS can you please send me some motivation please :)

Peps - I felt your pain and how dreadful for that to happen on the thunderbox (as we call them) I hope the advil is allowing you to make it through the day ok adn you can go to the dog show on the weekend - everything crossed

Diane S - Glad your director is ok

Love to all that follow - I had best keep working through email backlog. Isnt it amazing how much work accumulates after 1 day off - Imagine what horrors I will come back to after 3 weeks off in July

All your social engagements sound so fun and I don't even like doing "stuff"!
