Another beautiful day, likely to be spent at the beach. We figure the weekend will be busier around here so will do other exploring over the the next two days. We likely will also be going to Key West on Sunday to meet with our Wedding "Planner". We will be traveling there and back at least 5 times this month for errands, company and wedding/birthday. At least it isn't far from here.

I talked with DS last night. He is progressing and admits it is his own issues that are upsetting him but still has them. I have to figure out how to slip in the exact date, though I have told him we were just going to do a JP alone. DS is seeing a therapist and he says she is helping him a lot.

Did I mention that our lovely master bath shower gets no ho****er? We have called the property manager but no word on when it will be fixed. I know what the problem is and it should be a quick fix, but we need it done before our company comes on Wednesday. In the meantime we are using the smaller guest shower. The electrical outlets in the master bath are also not functioning so I have to dry my hair in the small bath. Maybe I will stop blow drying for a few days.

Time to get another cup of coffee.

Greetings all

DH is off helping his computer special needs person. I thought I would have the morning to relax alone but the contractor showed up with the building inspector to complete the bathroom permit. So all is well there once I wrangled all the dogs in and got dressed.

Big crisis at the art studio - yesterday our director did meeting in tears because she was physically assaulted by the groundskeeper who lives in a trailer on the studio property. Issues relate to the arguments about the garden and his increasing hostility to anyone who walks through it. She wants him evicted and I don't blame her. easier said than done. Landlord is also an owner of the studio and he is not responding to contacts. Big mess and of course everyone looks to me to fix it since I am a retired lawyer and therefore have super powers. Oy vey.

Yikes peps, thunder cell explosion!! So scary for dogs. Not enough CBD oil on the planet to cure that. Hope they are recovered by now. And report on lunch with CC.

Liz hope you get ho****er soon. But yeah, skip the blow dry. You are on vacation!!

What an awful situation at your studio! I would think the landlord is asking for big trouble, having such a volatile person living there who could come into contact with customers as well as staff. Will your director contact the police?

Yep, police were called and a statement given. Follow up is this guy has agreed to leave. Its all sad because he was a friend as well and he has become increasingly cranky and peculiar and has mental health issues. ds

I would think a physical assault would warrant bringing in the police?

I am so happy it's Friday! Yes!!! DH and I are going to see the movie Cryano. Looks like very lush cinematography, and the potential to be a tear jerker in the most artful way.

Other than that, no other big plans: just the regular chores of life that are the easiest to accomplish on the weekend.

We do have ho****er now but it is weird and comes and goes. The plumber pointed that out and said it is probably because it is ho****er on demand but the shower is two floors up and at the end of the water line. I did get an okay shower.

Boy is it windy here!!! Just blowing like crazy (but a warm wind). Like Aruba kind of.

Late greetings! I had such a fantastic time meeting Peps in person! He's just as handsome and funny and smart and kind as he comes across in his posts. We gabbed for hours. It was lovely!!!

BEST AFTERNOON EVER!

Had a marvelous time with CC this afternoon. We chatted for hours - seriously-HOURS! I could have easily spent the entire evening hanging out. CC is lovely to her core.

We have so many commonalities. I feel such a kinship to her.

And I'm gonna embarrass her.... She's really very pretty - I mean really pretty. She sooooo undersells herself in that department. On top of that, she looks to be in her 30s, maybe 40 tops.
