Wow! Yeah, that's the way to jumpstart a diet! Hopefully all will be well.

OK I am back. DH decided my computer needed a new keyboard so he gave the old one away. I give up trying to understand this stuff.
Driving through town I saw some blooming ceonothis plants next to daffodils. It was the perfect blend of blue and yellow that speaks of Ukraine. Makes you think. I am addicted to the news and cant leave it alone.
CC when do you have to start that diet? Looks like no fun but probably some weight loss will result. Hope it goes ok. DH asked if there was any kind of fake cheese like made from soy. Seriously? Tofu = yuck.
Something is disagreeing with my gut and I think its the costco enchiladas. So I must locate something else for dinner. Probably scrambled eggs.
Pancakes from scratch Peps!! Good on you for cooking.
And good on you Liz for finding a great place in the keys. Me wants to go there.
DD I accomplished my mission the other day. Store had lots of single serving chili and such in single serving pop top cans.
cruised by the studio and painted some glazes. Place is busy and its all good.
Not much else. Cheers all.

Ha! Yuck is right, but soy is verboten too! It doesn't have iodine, but is known to interfere with radioactive iodine uptake. I'm blocked at every turn...
I don't have to start until I have a scan date. It's around $3000 so insurance will likely balk and there's that to get through first. So I'm thinking second half of March at the earliest? Just guessing though.
Back from a long day with crazy students and conferences. Conferences were by appointment, and not too many parents signed up. I passed the time in between by researching the various options for claiming my pension. There are so many, depending on whether and what kind of survivor benefit you want. I'll want some kind, in case I die before my husband. I wouldn't want him to lose my social security and then all of my pension besides. Yes friends, these are the musings of a 60 year old woman stuck in a school building for 12 hours. Retirement starts to sound mighty appealing ....
