Last full day in Arizona! Mike and I are both looking forward to returning to Florida and warmth. Today we will pack and get prepared to leave. I think I am sending the winter gear and hiking boots back to Massachusetts via UPS. Thank goodness we had them but I don't want to have to lug them around while traveling tomorrow.

We are also going back to the jeweler to get Mike a ring and me a bracelet. Though he generally doesn't want to wear a ring, he decided that he would like one for the ceremony and to wear periodically. That makes me happy.

Justice was happy as a clam sleeping with us again last night and curled up next to me while I read this morning. The only after affect of being boarded is a somewhat weird bark which he has had after boarding before (it goes away once he doesn't have a chorus).

Time to get my act in gear! Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

Headed to Long Beach to hang out with a friend today and have lunch. It's a pretty day for it!

Yesterday I had an ultrasound on my thyroid to compare to the one done in late 2019. My nodules have grown and added a fourth. The biggest is. Ow 4cmx4cm, so not trivial. The others are all between 2-2.5 cm. It'll be interesting to hear what my doctor says. At least it shows I'm not crazy and it's bigger.

I walked yesterday. I'm really going to try to get back to that. It helps in so many ways.

That's all I've got! Happy weekend!

Does that men that they remove it at some point? Or medication needs to be tweaked?

I'm thinking removal? Meds can't shrink it

Then you probably need meds to replace it? Tough balance. My stepdaughter struggles with thyroid issues.

That's a distinct possibility. My right lobe is normal, so I think maybe they could take the left out and see if the right is enough to compensate. If not, they would replace, which I understand is easier to manage than the suppression drugs I take that are more like pin the tail on the donkey to get and keep right! I'm curious to hear what the doctor says. I know she said the radiation therapy wouldn't shrink it, but could solve the overactive problem. She also brought up alcohol ablation (injecting ethanol into the nodules) the last time I was there that could shrink them, but not solve the overactive problem though she was concerned if that would be appropriate with my blood thinners. No easy answer to the problem!

The weather was pretty much perfect in Florida this week. I hope that's what greets you when you arrive Liz.

CC, your lunch plans sound so nice. Sorry to hear about increasing problems with your thyroid!!!

Today I got dressed in my workout clothes, so yes, the plan is to finally show up at Planet Fitness today. And Costco. And then wash the sand out of my clothes.

Tomorrow we have tickets for a musical version of Pretty Woman. Not something I would choose normally, it was in the season package. It could be fun, but I don't expect it to be a Wow! Stellar! Kind of theater experience.

Sun is out here, hopefully going to be 30 degrees. 30 and sun usually means your face doesn't hurt when you're outside, so yeah!

Greetings all

Today I envy all of you in warm places. Its cold and rainy here and not much fun. Spent the afternoon at the gallery and there were quite a few hardy souls out so I sold some things. Better than just sitting.

Not much else new. Dinner last night was one forth of a patty melt that DH brought home. No clue how I ever used to eat an entire restaurant sized meal. There is an inviting array of leftovers for tonight.

CC sorry your thyroid is acting up. Hard to balance indeed but you are certainly wise to think twice before killing it off. I took thyroid as a young person for some years. In those days the pills were made from sheep thyroids and my cat was always trying to eat them!

I local deli has tuna salad that I really like. Its not overly glopped with mayo. delish.

Not much else. The dogs are lobbying me for dinner so I cant keep them waiting.
