CC there is a grout cleaning liquid that you can get at a tile store. I used it 20 years ago to clean grout when we were selling our house. Went from black to white! Its probably some horrible chemical but it worked well. DS

I forgot to mention I had that too! It's one safe for marble floors, so probably not as powerful as the rest, but together with the bru**** does a great job!

Greetings All

Yes, DH has a tool for everything and most of them are for tasks he never attempts. No telling what else is in the garage. For some reason not clear to me, he decided last night that the contractors need more room so he cleared out tubs and tubs of tools that were in our bedroom! Things that I have been *****ing about for years. Well they are now in the dining area but behind a counter so I cant see them. Next issue will be where do they go when the contractors are done. I vote "garage"

So we took the electric car in for the big battery swap due to GM recall. It only took about 4 hours so we are suspicious of what they actually did. DH on the search.

Peps many years ago I had a cairn terrier who got into our nephews back pack when he was visiting. Dog ate an entire bag of chocolate chips! Nephew had not considered that leaving that on the bedroom floor was a bad idea. Dog started barfing boscoe and did so for hours, drinking loads of water as she did. I just let her drink and barf. But she was fine. No food on the floor in this house. Same dog would chew up my pockets in the laundry basket because I often had dog treat crumbs in them. Same dog also managed to open the refrigerator by grabbing a towel looped through the handle. Also managed to husk some sweet corn and eat the kernels off the cob. That dog was Rocky and there is an article about her in the AKC gazette from 30 years ago.

Contractors are working away. I wish they would leave for the day but I am glad for the progress. Shower is in, room painted, looks like the vanity is going in. Still need sink, floor and hardware. I am sort of regretting my paint color choice since its pretty vanilla and I wish I had a more dramatic color.

Eggs on english muffins for lunch. I need a nap.

So exciting to be getting a new bathroom! Rocky sounds like a hound dog. My first beagle when I was a child was like that. She used to steal food off of neighbors BBQs if the meat was close to the edge - somehow she never burnt herself.
