We are back in Boston after a 9.5 hour overnight flight during which I slept somewhere between 30-60 minutes. And it is 10 degrees here. Brrr...
After we get our luggage and rental car we will drive home to take a nap and pack our other stuff. Then out the door at about 7 am tomorrow to return to the airport.
Have a safe and healthy Monday (it is Monday isn't it?).

Liz, hope you can enjoy your turn around day at home! 10 degrees is certainly not my ideal! When I lived in NYC it got down to 4 degrees one day. I had ice on the inside of my single paned 1920's window! No Bueno!
Go figure, I did not weigh today. Freudian slip perhaps.... I have not been pleased with my over the redline weight the past week. I decided to do a check in and see about how many calories I have been eating for breakfast and realized I have been underestimating by about 150 calories. Not a lot, but over time that 150 calories can add up and make a difference. I feel like it was a good practice to check in on portion.
I was reminded in a daily email about SMART goals - specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, timely..... I immediately was drawn, not to my weight goals, but my checkbook goals! LOL! Having electronic banking has really made me lazy about keeping a proper ledger. I prefer having a nicely kept ledger, but I also so easily slip into the "I can do it later" thinking. Then the doing it later becomes a much larger task than attending to it daily.... Sigh.....
I envy DD today with her tea and pj's morning. Well, I must go.... recess is over and math beckons....
Greetings all
Yay the contractors showed up as agreed and seem to be efficient. Electrician is also here adding a circuit since bathrooms each need their own. Whatever. Lots of saw noise and the old vanity has left the building. They seem skilled and organized so we are pleased. DH was up at 5 am puttering around preparing. He acts like some rock stars are visiting and was thrilled to show the electrician our electrical box. Oh boy.
And we got a call to schedule the battery change out on our electric car! So everything happens at once. Probably the contractors will still be here. And the dogs are imprisoned in the kitchen for the duration. They will have to be content with watching the neighbors across the street with their old fat labrador.
Geez liz, talk about your frequent flier miles. Back and forth across the USA. I am sure it will be worth it. Last time I was in Scottsdale we went to a big cactus and succulent garden that was way cool.
I am so far away from weight control mode its pathetic. But I am also not fixating on food. More hot soup tonight which will be good because DH has all the doors open due to fear of covid from the contractors even though they are masked, we are vexed and boosted (LOL VAXED) and we have several air purifiers running. I guess we are purifying the air of the entire county.
Annoyed with my studio buddy. She is an experienced woodworker and I asked her to check out the rocking chair to make sure its sound. She sat in it, said it seems fine and concluded its not our problem. Jeez.
Hug the pups Peps for whatever days you have.
Trip to the store in order. Need wine.
Cheers all

I did eventually put on a shirt and bra today, but I am still sporting my pajama pants! I got soooo much done, but there is always more in the pipeline. I won't think about that though, I'll just enjoy my sense of accomplishment.
I will eventually need to put on something more like real pants, because I have to go to the store to buy my colonoscopy prep materials. I'm starting the prep tomorrow, and being scoped on Wednesday morning. I will be glad to have it behind me. (I amuse myself!)
I need to eat low fiber today, and clear liquids tomorrow. Today's meal plan has mostly been white toast and some bacon. Breakfast of champions!
