Egypt!!! That is my BFFs biggest bucket list item. Was it fabulous?

Hey all! Snow falling here and 21 degrees with a windchill of 5. Brr. But pretty. Went to the grocery store today and to return all the cans and bottles that have piled up since October. Michigan has a very successful bottle/can recycling program with return machines at all grocery stores. We had $43 worth! Crazy...

Not much else to report. Life is slow here. Doing lots of chores. Dad is doing well, but still has vicious hiccups that sound like he's gasping for air. Same ones he had with chemo.

Anyway, that's all I have! Take care...

I admire Michigan's recycling Program, and its been in operation for so many years. The weather is yikes! this week. Brings a new meaning to the possibility that hell could indeed freeze over.

Not much here today. Getting a much needed haircut after work.

Had another great workout yesterday. I should not have gotten on teh scale today. After two great days of lifting and eating really well, I'm up a pound. Sure it's probably water retention for muscle repair, but still disheartening.....

Perhaps that is the reason I CHOSE to eat a cinnamon scone today. It was "January Birthday Treat" day at school.

Ron went ape **** crazy at the grocery store yesterday. I think this is why I do the shopping most of the time. He brought home 1/2 an apple pie, two kinds of cookies, chocolate/custard eclairs, and hot caramel and hot fudge sauce. I was utterly gob smacked. I "hid' the cookies from myself. LOL! I couldn't deal with them being left on the counter in already opened containers.

That's it from here.

Ai yi yi! This would be so hard for me to have all those treats in the house. I too find that out of sight helps a lot, but I can also go digging around in nooks and crannies when I'm on a tear. God Speed!

Good Morning All

I have been absent as I am dealing with/trying to contend with a very rocky patch in my marriage. Its taking all of my strength and is a bumpy journey. In time I will know what the outcome is but for now I am trying to take it one day at a time....... Life is simply hard sometimes and my heart is in a million pieces.

I have been trying to pop in and read when I can and miss you all very much. Take care and I will be present as much as I can

Love to you all
