Yeah! My X-Ray shows my lungs are sufficiently clear to resume my life. I'm still coughing but I think that's going to hang on for awhile. So I'm going back to work tomorrow, and even better, I'm going to go to San Diego Friday evening.

So yesterday I left the house twice, once To get my X-Ray, and then I decided to get a massage. I felt okay, the masseuse wore a mask and I wore one too.

DH has also been sick, but he has more of a cold, lots of congestion, but he can go about his day. Suddenly, he has conjunctivitis. He did 3 at home Covid tests, but they were negative. But still, I feel like he had Covid.

Today I will pack for San Diego, and get my head ready for tomorrow!

I just read that Omicron can be detected more easily in the mouth (saliva) than in nasal passages. I also read previously that the at-home tests are best for determining if a person is currently contagious vs. if they have the infection (which I think means one could be infected but not contagious at that moment especially if vaccinated). So you could be right. I can't believe how many people I know who are coming down with it lately (all mild so far). I can't help but think Mike and I may have gotten Omicron but just have been asymptomatic.

So great than you can go to San Diego. I HOPE that you feel better every day!

We had the BEST Thai food last night - from a food truck recommended by one of the bartenders at the resort here. Not necessarily the healthiest meal (nor the worst) but I almost feel like I am eating less here in quantity (I guess we will find out when I step on a scale LOL).

Today we are going to the beach for most of the day with a short hike afterwards. Tomorrow we are taking a longer hike. Saturday Mike's son arrives for about 2 weeks (not all with us).

Though I have tried to put the question of marriage on hold during this trip it still comes up in my mind periodically. Mike is clearly relieved that I am not bringing it up right now but if he thinks it has gone away he is sadly mistaken. I think I more or less have a line in the sand. If no discussion or planning by April then I am not going to put my Florida place up for sale. And I may have to think about putting boundaries around our relationship so I won't get hurt going forward. Easier said than done...

Have a safe and healthy Thursday!

I think you are wise to keep your Florida house until you are 100% certain you are ready. If it were me, I might wait until I was married. Are you able to rent it to offset the costs?

Checking in from Albuquerque! Decent drive today albeit a very unfortunate Waze detour that saved no time and added 30 miles. It made me think, I don't think Waze has ever resulted in a great detour for me. I have half a mind to delete the app to avoid the temptation. I'm alWaze disappointed.

Tomorrow it's on to Tulsa. Saturday's weather looks bad. I may just stay an extra day in OK. We'll see.

I got to talk to my dad this morning and while he sounded hoarse, he been up walking and is on Tylenol after all they cut out. He doesn't feel good, obviously, but is focused on getting back to his life.

Exercise is nil and food is terrible. Such is road trip life!

I got rid of Waze some time ago. I think it's a God Awful app! The rerouting is just ridiculous. I do far better with iMaps and Google Maps! If you have an iPhone, just use the map app on the phone. It works far better than Waze, IMO. The rerouting is far more logical on the iMap.

I totally agree. I am deleting it!

I am glad to hear that your Dad seems to be doing well. I think Waze has some value in a city where there are a lot of users (such as Boston), but outside of the city I think it is useless. I prefer Google Maps most of the time.
