Am I really first? It is almost 8 here so almost 1 on the east coast if the US! It is supposed to be the coldest day of a decade in Massachusetts. I can't say I am missing it. It is another beautiful day in Oahu. We are going to Pearl Harbor today and maybe to the beach afterwards. We had shrimp from a food truck last night. Very tasty and I think fairly healthy. There are tons of food trucks here with everything from shrimp to Thai to Mexican.

I need to get my act together to have a walk and then get ready to go. I will check back later.

Have a safe and healthy day!

Warm (79), clear, dry, and windy here today!

I might color my own roots today. I am not good at doing the back at all, but needs must. And I have a meeting at 1.

Not sure what else I'm going to do today. Getting very nervous about my dad's surgery tomorrow.

Hope you're all doing well!

Ceci, positive thoughts for your dad ! I got my first hungry root box today ! Loving the unique ingredients I might not typically select, such as pesto and couscous. Also received a peanutbutter cookie dough I can eat from the resealable cup or bake.

Did my assessment with the trainer today . I get program Friday. My hip to waist ratio was 35 to 25, which blew his mind. Every data point was in the normal range. Official re-evaluation in three months. Normal sounds so good !

I am bored. Really bored. So, I think that means I'm feeling better. :) Chest X-Ray tomorrow, hoping for good news so I can get on with it all.

Back in its heyday, we never watched the Sopranos because we didn't have HBO. DH and DD started watching it together from the very first episode. I drop in from time to time, its pretty entertaining. They are halfway through season 5. I also watched the movie, Frida, yesterday. I enjoyed it. So I guess I've been into retro viewing :)

Liz, very good to miss the coldest days. My brother and sister-in-law are in Cozumel, missing the cold snap here. I say, good for them, and good for you! Those of us in the tundra will get our turn to head for sunny destinations eventually.

Speaking of, I've been browsing hotels in warm places for spring break. Holy moly! The hotel we stayed in in Key West on our honeymoon is over $900 a night. When I do a filter on websites, there is literally nothing in the $200-$300 range. Everything is at least 349 or more, before taxes and resort fees. We may end up back in Vegas again, simply because its more affordable. Or maybe we'll need to give up the notion of someplace warm...
