Diane and Peps are sending their rain down here today and tomorrow. 2-4 inches. This has been an amazing month for rain here! Hopefully we don't have to hear about drought in 2022. But we're having a moment of sunshine right now.

I have no plans today, but I'm sure I can come up with something. Maybe something in the cleaning out clutter category...

I hope everyone is well today!

I'm loving the routine I'm settling in to. I still have yet to get to a Zumba class, but the lap swimming is great. I have a very early morning slot I signed up for twice a week and I am the ONLY one in the lap pool. I was thinking about shifting to a later time, but the locker room is deserted too, so it is too good to pass up.

DD, hope you are feeling better ! Peps, how is your knee ? Diane, I'm sure your culinary muscles loved cooking ! Ceci, good for you with that boundary setting. Liz, I hope your and DD's trips are not impacted by airlines !

Reading Atlas of The Heart by Brene Brown and am totally in awe of her research into emotions and common sense approach. Apparently, most people identify with three or four basic emotions (happy, mad, sad are the most common). Her research with 7000+ people identified 87 emotions, grouped into chapters with like emotions. Just getting really into it.

I'm still dragging but I think I can imagine I will be well again some day. I have a colonoscopy scheduled next week that I think I will need to postpone. Even if I'm feeling better, it seems too soon to tax myself like that.

I made chili last night, that was my big accomplishment for the day, and I started putting away some of the new Christmas gifts. New things are lovely, but storage here is very limited.

Very cold in Minnesota today! Below zero air temp. Its our first subzero of the year. I guess one advantage of being a sicky: no one expects me to go out there! I'll stay safely snuggled up with a book and blankie.

Do you think you might have gotten the flu (since not Covid)? So sorry you have spent most of your vacation feeling sick!
