Greetings all

Whoooo Hoooo Liz congrats. I knew it would work out for you and Mike. You two just exude "right for each other". Sounds like the rest of the family will be good too. Excellent and I think you should consider Elvis as a guest.

We went to see our dying friend today. She is not conscious and not responsive. I wish I had gone sooner. She has not eaten or drank for a few days other than drops of water. I took some things and we wore santa hats but she did not notice. But her husband really needed to talk so that was good. Their son is an acupuncturist and practitioner of eastern medicine and does not want her to get morphine or other calming drugs and thats a sad source of conflict. He arrives in a couple of days. May be too late.

DD enjoy the rice and black beans. Makes me want some. I just started the veggies for chicken soup so thats our dinner plan.

We started watching "The Great" last night. A sort of weird comedy about Catherine the Great. Quirky but entertaining. It made me go read some history. Before she established herself, women in Russia did not read. Nada.

Peps glad you get a break. Enjoy all of it. Wish you were near so I could get you to dog groom. I am realizing these wild little terriers are a little much for an old lady like me. I need a goldfish.

Not much else. I am in total denial about eating and weight issues and yet I feel every pound every time I move. I will think about it tomorrow.

I loved The Great. Very witty, absurd and naughty. Great chemistry between all the leads. We finished Season 2 a few weeks ago.

Ha, if Liz doesn't have an Elvis wedding, someone needs to either get married or renew their vows so we can all meet up in Vegas.
