Countdown to returning north and the next trip. It is 9 days until we fly home and one month until we leave for Hawaii.
We drive the sisters to the airport tomorrow afternoon and pick DD and her BF up at Universal on Friday. The revolving door keeps moving! But we have figured out how we are getting to and from the airport during our travels on 12/16. That's a plus.
I need to clamp down on my eating - I REALLY cannot afford to gain more weight before our travels. As usual VSG is great for reducing portions but not on the snacking (or meal choices).
Have a safe and healthy Tuesday!

I need clamps too! Stat!!
I'm walking with my friend this morning and then we're going to Target to shop for our knitting group that doesn't knit Christmas gift exchange.
I need to get back to my basics. Long walks, decent food, no extravagant treats... No time like the present to start!
Happy 10 year surgiversary to me..... Sigh.....
Bittersweet, meaningful, emotional, many lessons learned, strong as an ox, still obese.... Could be a hard day, if I chose to make it so. But instead, I shall focus on the positives as much as possible! However, there are thoughts of "what the hell????" floating around in the corners...
You are incredibly fit and strong and know yourself better than ever. So many achievements in 10 years.

This morning I had a talk with myself about getting my S$ together. So I stopped at the grocery store on the way home from work, dinner is in the oven. Some healthy food in the fridge. I looked up memberships at some health clubs in the area. (Ouch! Pricey). The affordable one I used to belong to is sadly closed. If I get a membership, and I go, we both agree it's a good investment. So, here are the first steps towards getting it together.
I hurt my foot in the most ridiculous way. I tripped over the wood block heel of one of my boots, and jammed all my toes. Striking bruise, lots of colors! It still hurts a week later, so I'm thinking I might have to go to the doctor. I don't want to. I can bend and wiggle all my toes, so I don't think anything is broken ....
It's the first real snowfall today. Big, quarter sized flakes, very pretty, but the roads are slick. I'm grateful for my short commute.
Good for you taking action! Boy do I need to do the same about my food especially.
I hope you just bruised your foot. It might be tough starting at the gym with a broken foot...
