It is finally supposed to be warmer here starting today. The weather has been beautiful but with a cool north breeze for the last week. It looks like the warmer weather will last until we leave in 12 days.

Speaking of leaving Florida we are starting to get worried about packing. First we have to clear everything personal out of the general space here for the renters, but the "owners closet" isn't very large. Nor is the one car we have to drive over to my villa on the west coast of Florida. Then we have to pack enough in suitcases to fly north and make sure we have what we need for Hawaii and Arizona. I suspect I will need to ship some stuff in a box from here so we don't have to put it in the car or suitcase.

Once we are home we have to pack for Hawaii but plan the packing for Arizona as we will only return to Cape Cod for one day to pick up Justice and exchange clothing before we fly to Arizona. There we will need clothing for warm days but also winter clothing because we are going to the south rim of the Grand Canyon for a few days. Whew!

We really need to settle down after this!!!

Time to go take our daily 3 mile walk. We are taking the sisters to an outdoor music venue this afternoon which we enjoy going to. Tonight we will be winging it for food.

Have a safe and healthy Saturday!

Wow Liz, that is a big packing puzzle. Your organizational skills will definitely be utilized!

We haven't had snow yet. Maybe some this weekend, but hopefully it will miss us. Everyday we don't have snow means winter is one day shorter.

Today is DDs birthday! She is such a joy. I'm preparing myself for her move back to the east coast. I'm excited she will get started on her goal of beIng a therapist, but we will miss her so much. She heads back for grad school in January.

Today we are going to a concert and dinner with some family friends. Yesterday we started celebrating with a nice dinner at home, I made Risotto, and we had a cake from our favorite bakery.

DD got her booster this week, and had a tough day with chills, bodyaches etc. DH got his yesterday, and had a tough night. I'm not sure if I had any reaction from mine (Pfizer). In our study of 3, Moderna seems to pack a bigger punch.

Have a great Saturday everyone!

Good night's sleep. Those seem to earn a celebration from me these days!

I've been fighting a bit of depression these last few weeks. Mine does not seem to be the kind where I'm down and stay down. It comes in waves. I'll be fine (like I am right now), then this black cloud washes over and everything feels bleak and hopeless. Then it recedes (can be as short as 30 minutes, or hours) and I'm back to fine. It's kind of like wherever my coping skills and hope live has a short in the wiring. Sometimes the connection is good, sometimes it disconnects and I'm in the dark.

My friend is a florist and part of her business is teaching arranging classes. I'm going to a wreath making class today. Should be fun.

That's all I have. Hope you all are well!

The wreath making class sounds like such fun. Wish I could join you!!!!! Sorry about the depression. I understand. Luckily, it sounds transitory, which I think is easier than when it pulls in, turns off the engine and puts on the parking break.

I dragged my lazy azz to the staff party last night and had a very nice time. Of course, I stayed later than I should have, but Ron was home with the dogs, so it was okay.

My weight is up another pound. C'est la vie.... It is the holidays, but I didn't think I ate in a fashion to hold on to even more water weight.

Hair cut on the books for today. An hoping to get the tree up and decorated today. I also need to start working on Blitz for the Palm Springs shows in January.

Session with the Nutritional therapist went well. Nice to have the affirmation that I am making progress in the right direction.

It is a gloomy gray wintery ground fog type of day here today. We are on day three of this type of weather. I liked it the first day, but am already tired of it. Cold foggy weather doesn't work for me for very long at all.

Maybe I could come meet you and Blitz in PS? It's less than 2 hours from here.

I would LOVE that! We will be there from Thursday, January 6 - 9. Thursday, Friday, or Saturday would be best. Sunday will be about finishing up and getting back on the road home.

Yay! I'll check with my friend Bill about the merits of driving out there on the different days and be in touch!

Late Morning All x

We had a lovely Christmas get together last night with friends after a super productive day yesterday. Mowing done - no snakes this time Yay. Berry rows weeded, mulched and netted- will post picture in TT.

Today has been busy too. Double batch of scones cooked, washing, weed spraying and brush cutting. We are heading out to a christmas lunch for Neighbourhood watch then have an afternoon tea at neighbours place- hence the Scones! We will be late back to the city house tonight but it feels good to get stuff done & above all be socialising again.

Liz- glad the weather is getting better and boy you have some fabulous trips planned :) We loved the Grand Canyon so much

Cec - Hugs. Hard to work through feeling down. Glad it passes quickly.

Peps- Glad you had a great time at your staff Christmas party

DD- Happiest of birthdays to your DD. Sorry to hear both she & DH had reactions to booster

Hello to all that follow. I had best fly. Picking up SIL on the way to lunch
