Happy Tuesday!
Liz must be busy with family today. Hope it is a good time.
CC, once again the term "Dickwad" comes to mind. People can come up with all explanations and rationale for his tipsy phone call, but given his history with you and reputation in general, perhaps walking papers are in order. While male attention may be nice and long in coming, I believe you deserve more than what this guy offers.
I blew out my knee last night corralling dogs. They were going ballistic over the neighbors visiting Napoleonic mini Schnauzer. Damn dog comes over to the fence and barks relentlessly at our dogs. Without a fence in between the dog is a total wuss - runs and cowers. So the limp that was almost gone is back with a vengeance. My knee is sore and very hard to bend. It feels swollen, too - especially in the back. This is not arthritis! Of that I am sure!
Weight is down a pound today. I thought.... Ooooo, only 78 more than CC this morning. LOL!
Absolutely have to get to the vet today to pick up Liza's whelping meds.
Have a client dog at one o'clock and a training session at 5pm. Not much else on the dance card today.
Oh, it's Fly-maggedon here. It's grossing me out. We have flies all over the house. Can't figure it out. Blech......
So sorry your knee is hurting again. It seems like the older we get the longer it takes to heal.
Yes, a full day in MikeFamilyLand. His son arrived yesterday so there are 9 of us now. Mike's DS walked with us this morning while everyone else was asleep which was really nice. Today we are sticking by the pool as there is a brisk cool NE wind on the beach. I also made my Grandma/Mother's pumpkin pie and MIL/SIL's cranberry bread today. I will make an apple pie tomorrow. All traditional elements in my family's past Thanksgivings which I am sharing with Mike's family this year.
Not much else to report. Eating is vacation worthy. Not a lot of volume but not the best choices...
Have a safe and healthy Tuesday!

Today started with a colleague delivering a piece of pumpkin pie. I thought, just take a bite, and toss the rest. Narrator: She did not, in fact, toss the pie. Later our very thin fit social worker offered me a cookie saying, I'm eating my feelings. This time I declined.
Safely back in my own home, with marginally less temptations. I will work from home tomorrow. Covid numbers continue to be insanely high in our school district, and surrounding districts. We will be wearing masks for quite awhile I think. Working from home on a paperwork day is nice for many reasons, and not having to wear a mask is one of them.
